What is the hardness of this honing steel?

Hmmm Well I don't how to measure something that cost15 bucks. If ya don't like it, send it back, free. That being said It seems to much harder than my knifes, as it should. Works great however, I do finish off my blades after using the steel you are inquiring with a made in West Germany fine steel rod. Now I got sharp decent edge.
