What is a size 8 kids? Medium or large?

what size is appropriate for an 8 year old boy?

I wish I'd sized up for my son. He's a bit taller and legs were short.

Can the costume fit someone age 14?

The description states this costume arrives with the suit, belt and scarf. But there was no belt or scarf in the bag?

The belt was part of the costume (gold) and no scarf included
