Well printed and bound. But the story has been adapted to young readers beyond recognition. A dull narrative - this happened, then that. All the language characterizing Tom is gone. It does not even start with "Tom", no answer, "TOM", ... "Y-o-u-u Tom!" I had another version as a child which I could read by myself at the age of 7 or 8 which had some of the southern slang removed but maintained the style the original was written in.

The books good. Easy language for 7-10 yrs old. Nice graphics. Best buy with given price n it is hardbound. Gives the feel of a novel to young readers. Worth it. Note for the publishers- thanks for publishing classics. Physical shops no longer has such good classics for kids.

I liked that it was in a good condition . It was funny and very exciting. The charecters had very different personalities and opinions. My favorite charecter was Tom swayer himself because he was very smart and could make decisions for every single situation.
