These are nice glass jars! Great size!

I was looking to store paint in some thing and get rid of the giant paint cans. These hold a little over a half gallon, and the labels work perfect. The lid closes tight, seems to fit perfectly airtight, the jars are sturdy and the appearance is top notch. I assume it would also work great for food, but they definitely worked great for paint.

These were packed tightly--no broken/chipped glass! The seal is tight. My only problem is that under "Maintenance and Care" these jars were listed as both dishwasher safe and hand wash only--can they be both?

Got these for storming grain and no complaints yet. They seem well and so far no critters have found their way in.

{Update - 2026} - 18-Month Check-in — Still Going Strong!I’m coming back to update this because these jars are the real deal! After consistent use, here is how they are holding up:The Seals are Legit: Even after months of opening and closing, the rubber gaskets are still soft and provide a perfect airtight seal.Freshness Proof: My brown sugar is still soft, and my flour and cornmeal stay perfectly fresh with no clumping or "pantry" smell.Durability: The glass is thick and hasn't clouded at all. The metal clamps are still snappy and haven't loosened up or rusted.Labels: The chalkboard labels that came with the set are still stuck on tight and haven't peeled at the corners despite being in a high-traffic area.Bottom Line: If you're looking for something that actually seals and looks great on a shelf, these are worth every penny.Original review: I just got these to put my powdered sugar and cornmeal and brown sugar in and I just love them! I just started getting into baking and it’s really nice to have everything right there on the counter for you. They look amazing. It’s a great value for the money they are very easy to clean. I love the slick design. They feel very well and they are leakproof! A perfect addition to any Baker’s kitchen!

I am so happy with this purchase I needed something that was going to work for my fermentation of drinks that seals properly and holds the amount required. So I purchased these and I have added some video and photos for you to get a better look at. They do seal perfectly as I do have to turn them upside down with liquid in them once a day and I have not had even a drop spill out of them. They seal very and will keep your items fresh and also when you are fermenting it does not let the gas’ release, which is exactly what I need. Now the only complaint that I have is the packaging, however it is a pro and a con at the same time. The packaging I found is very difficult to get unpacked, trying to pull the Styrofoam off was kind of difficult however I do have a little issue with the strength in my fingers so that may have been the cause However, the pro to that is that this is getting shipped perfectly. I cannot see these breaking during shipmentbecause they are packaged very well. So I’m going to stick with a five star as the only thing that I indicated that may be a negative can also be a positive as well, so I am going to highly recommend this at a five star.
