Works on RG400 Coax
I was wanting to install both the female and the male fittings on RG400 coax.... Vendors seldom mention RG400.And going on the assumption that if it works for RG58 then it will work for RG400 is bad logic I'm told... HOWEVER... I installed both the male and the female units on RG400 and it worked great.... the collar fittings are a little tight over the back of the fitting but that's the way you want it to be... DO NOT crimp the little center pin... male or female version.... there's a little hole that will wick the solder into the hollow of the pin... this soldering is easy peasy... just get some really small diameter solder... soldering tip (really important) ..squeeze or bend the center pin a little bit so the center wire so it doesn't move around while you touch it with the soldering iron.. it doesn't take much solder...These are quality fittings and they work well on RG400

Quality BNC connectors
Ordered a pkg of these connectors to repair a damaged connector on RG 58 cable. I recommend practicing on an old length of cable, as it is VERY important to get the assembly and crimps correct. (YouTube videos are a great help.)If the connections aren't correctly done, the signal through the cable will be weak or non-existent. Also, be sure to check continuity after assembly, to double check that you've done it right. Continuity reading of 1 or less is ideal. These parts worked great & since there's 10 in the pkg, you have extra to practice on.

Good Product
Connectors were of good quality however it eas not very easy to use with cabels having very small positive stranded wires. Fits well on solid wires bot not very well on stranded ones.

Fit well and easy to install
They work well on my cable and fit perfect. Well worth the price.

First Experience With Connector Went Well
I’ve only used one of these connectors but the installation went well. I haven’t used it long enough to make a judgement on longevity.

Easiest way I've found to make BNC patch cables.
The parts crimped onto an old random length of RG58 coax as if they were made for it. Well, they were, of course. In all seriousness, these connectors were some of the easiest ones I've ever used to make short communications coaxial jumpers out of an old random length of RG58 coax. The jumpers work great for my QRP Ham Radio station. They end up looking just like commercial jumpers at a fraction of the price.
