I need a regular length pencil not a short one ...does any one know the actual length of these pencils ?

The length of these pencils would be about 7 inches, based on measuring a similar item here and comparing its geometry to that shown in the illustration.

how dark is the color? I am looking for medium red, close to cadmium red light in oil colors.

I got black. They are hard to write with compared to grease pencils that I remembered. If you're looking for a solid streak, I doubt you'd be happy.

what are the ingredients of this pencil? like the animal ingredients, which animal?

Couldn't find anywhere on the 'Net the exact ingredients of this pencil, even on the material safety data sheet (MSDS) on the manufacturer's (Ticonderoga Dixon Co's) website. I did find (doc=dated 1997) a site that lists the ingredients of grease pencils as: wax (paraffin, beeswax, ceresin, carnauba, spermaceti), colorant (pigment or dye), tallow (beef or mutton), alkali (potassium carbonate), stearic acid, filler (talc, kaolin). Easy to clean off

We were looking for something easy to wipe off when we were done marking on fabric and plastic. These worked great

Good but could be better

I like the color but I feel they are a little dry. I used them on the skin when doing my mapping for Nano brows or microblading. They don’t glide as well as other ones. I had to put some oil on it to make it write better.

Reconfigure the scoring.

Paper wrappings were not scored deep enough. Wide strips peeled off and we wasted a number of pencils. We tried a number of ways to correct the problem but nothing worked. Very disappointed. We use them for underlining when we study.

Great tool

I am really getting to like grease marker pencils -- bright color, they don't fade or smear. Get's the point across. I am fan of "Dixon" pencils, so I thought I. would try this brand -- very nice shade of red. Will re-order. Sharon H
