Excellent Beard and Skin Oil – Part of My Daily RoutineI’ve personally bought this URA D’OR Moroccan Argan Oil about 12 times now. I started using it a couple of years ago for my beard after my wife was already using it for her hair, and I figured I’d give it a try. It turned out to be amazing and is now part of my daily beard maintenance routine.Moisturizing: It does an excellent job keeping both beard hair and skin moisturized without feeling heavy or greasy.Thickness: The oil is lightweight and not overly thick, which makes it easy to apply and distribute evenly.Hair Growth: While I can’t say it “grows” hair, it definitely helps improve the overall condition and health of my beard over time.Leakage: The bottle has been reliable with no issues of leaking during storage or travel.Hair Condition: It noticeably improves softness and manageability, making the beard feel healthier and easier to maintain.Consistency: Very consistent product from bottle to bottle, which is important since I’ve repurchased it many times.One thing I’ve noticed is that it used to have a slight hint of tea tree or menthol, which I actually liked, but it seems that has changed over time. Nothing comes close in comparison to this amazing product for relieving dry problem skin conditions. Nothing! I am 57, have advanced Palmoplantar Keraterderma (since 2010), which in layman's terms is a serious hardening of the skin on the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands. I live in AZ, an incredibly dry state which adds to this problem of cracked soles and palms that break open and bleed and peal constantly. My dermatologist has tried everything to cure my condition, which is of course stress related. I've been on $500 prescriptions for Clobex, Calcitratin, Hydrocortizones, etc. and nothing managed to keep my skin moist, pliable, or allow it to heal. I've used petroleum jelly and saran wrap to alleviate the condition, but inevitably the skin dries every time after showering and once the shoes are off. I've used Aveeno Eczema Therapy cream, Cetaphil Restoraderm (for months), and other over the counter remedies recommended by my dermatologist. They all failed to maintain consistent moisture within the layer of derm beneath the surface skin, and the minute I had to bathe or wash my hands I was back to square one. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here to tell you this is the answer. This is the one! The miracle cure. I've used Pura D'or now for three days with four small applications to my hands and feet. I've also bathed, washed my hair, done some housecleaning without gloves, etc, and guess what? My hands remained soft and pliant. No kidding! I was amazed. And my feet...well, the minute I applied the oil the thickening of the soles began to soften and literally peel off! I've never had such ease in removing these stubborn and normally painful calluses that crack and bleed. Well, the bleeding is gone, the calluses have disappeared, the soles are soft and pliable. I don't have to wear socks 24/7 and can now wear my sandals. I've washed my hands numerous times and they continue to remain soft and pliable--even when using soap! Even more wonderful is how this oil does not leave an oily residue on your hands or feet. It soaks in and leaves a silky smooth surface. I was so excited I applied the same oil to my face and neck area which is now silky smooth. Then I went over the back of my hands which also eliminated the dry scaling and tiny scabs I acquired working with horses and gardening. They are now all gone and I have the skin of a baby's behind instead. I can't express enough how happy I am with this product! When you've endured a serious skin condition for years and nothing has worked, then you come across something as amazing as this which is also organic, full of antioxidants, Vitamin A and E, Omega 3s and 6s, Carotene, Phenolic Acid and Amino Acids--all the healthy things in life, it is like being reborn. I used this oil on my husband's arthritic feet for a good long rub and he said he slept like a baby and the callous on the ball of his foot is magically gone. This is the only item you will ever need in your medicine cabinet for fast dry skin relief...ever! The price is a pittance for this kind of blessed relief and I highly recommend it for anyone with problematic skin conditions. To my nose, the oil smells a bit like the way an olive tastes — earthy, almost like manure. I love olives, so it doesn't bother me, but my bf is less enthused about it. However, the scent seems to dissipate quickly.Since getting the bottle, I've been using it for various skin-related issues:1. Facial moisturizer: I really like the way the skin on my face feels after moisturizing with a little bit of this oil. At first, I would pump 1-2 drops into my palms then rub it into my face. That actually made me break out ): After some trial and error, the method that works for me is to pump a couple drops in my palms, rub it over my hands like hand lotion, then use the tiny residual amount leftover on my palms to gently pat my face. Deposits just enough oil to moisturize my face without saturating it in too much oil and making me break out.2. Hair moisturizer: 2-3 drops on my palms, rub around like hand lotion, then run my hands through my hair. It controls flyaways and makes my hair feel silky. I like combing some through my hair before I sleep. I've noticed my hair is healthier and more hydrated since using this regularly.3. Beard balm: I like to think it makes my bf's beard less scratchy, but the effect isn't major. He does like how it feels on his beard though.4. My FAVORITE use for this oil, and the #1 reason why I'd buy this again — body moisturizer. At night, my skin gets really itchy for no discernible reason. My legs, arms, and back get these itchy hives-like spots. Rubbing this oil onto the itchy spots stops all irritation within seconds, and I no longer have to scratch myself. It's amazing. I don't know how or why, all I know is that it works to calm down my night hives. I've also noticed that my scattering of chest acne — recurring breakouts and scarring on my chest kept me from wearing low-neck shirts for the past two months — calmed down and faded away within a week of regular oil application.So in summary, this oil performed much better than I expected, and because 1-2 drops go such a long way, I think it's well worth the price tag.

First impression: ok so I has been looking at argan for a while. And we know like most of not beauty oils, once it catches on EVERYTHING contains it. But it's not pure, it's diluted and filled with chemicals. There's another popular beauty brand that says it contains 100% argan oil but it's expensive. I looked and a 4 ounce bottle of that brand (which is the largest size they make) is $96. Sooo $20 or $96, you decide. Lol from first impressions, it goes on very nicely. I heard it's good for dark circles so I used it on my eyes and normally get a stinging feeling when I use new stuff around my eyes bc it's sensitive BUT this was awesome..no sting. The skin around my eyes feel very soft and supple and not dry. I'll give another review in a few weeks..let you know how this works out.Update 7/4/15 ok so it's only been a few days but I can tell this is my new favorite product. In the morning after washing my face and using toner, I use this as a serum. I mix a little with my eye cream and use it around my eyes before waiting 5 minutes or so to apply acne cream and then a day cream with spf. My skin has a glow. At night...cleanse, tone, serum, retin-a. I noticed that this helps the retin-a be more effective since sometimes it can be drying. I washed my face 4 hours ago and it still as feels soft and supple as when I applied the oil.Update 2 7/30/15 ok so I've been using this for about a month now and these little lines that I started to notice under my eyes are becoming less apparent. Sometimes I'm too tired to go through my entire night time routine so I will quickly wash my face, spritz with thermal spring water and dab 1 or 2 drops of this on my face. When I wake up in the morning my skin is soft and supple.Also I've tried this on other parts of my body. It makes a nice cuticle oil and it's nice to mix with some brown sugar and olive oil for a lip scrub or even with your regular lip balm and it gives just a touch of shine..not greasy looking lips but nice kissable lips. Every now and then I will put some through my scalp and hair and it's a little softer but I also have psoriasis so I may not be the best person to ask about argan oil and hair. I've mixed a little with my regular lotion and the lotions seems to soak into my skin quickly and my skin stays more hydrated.Update 8/10/19 I've used this argan oil for a few years, I'll be 31 in the winter and I get carded a few times a year. The oil is very light but moisturizing. My skin feels very smooth, it's a perfect oil year round oil. Also, it makes a great oil for your hair. When I do a hot oil treatment, I add a few drops of this oil to my oil mix. Wonderful purchase.

I use this as a lotion. Here’s what I’ve learned having olive ethnic dry skin. I love tanning. I never burn. This stuff along with NOW brand oils with whatever scent of essential oil you prefer added to it, or just this stuff alone works to prevent sunburn, but it also works to increase tanning. Idk the sorcery, but after a weekend trip floating the Quad river- & falling asleep at the beach that same summer-with a large group of friends that all got burnt with the exception of me, wearing these oils all day long -all while getting the best tan ever 🤷‍♀️ plus a little research has proven that sunscreens & marketed tanning products are the REAL cause of skin disorders, NOT sun or UV rays.. don’t believe me- try it (with the exception of the pale ginger skin tones) However, my daughter is pale like her Dad & they both used my NOW oil concoction at the pool & didn’t burn for the 1st time in their lives. I wouldn’t recommend using this oil as a sunscreen, but certainly as a bronzer or moisturizer. I also use it in my hair.

Excellent value for all the key aspects to look for in Moroccan oil. Higher prices /products out there but doesn't mean better than this. I have highly processed blonde fine hair. I only use 1 protein product (biosilk silk therapy) following sulfate free shampoo/ conditioner, and add this oil to semi-damp hair. My hair is shiny, controls fly aways and does not weigh it down. Very little needed.

I only used it once so far, and a tiny bit definitely goes a long way. I’m curious if it will make a difference in the thickness, but for what I intended to purchase it for, it’s met my expectations. I don’t care for the smell of it, but it’s not strong, and doesn’t contain alcohol. If anyone is curious, this product is from Morocco, but bottled in the US.

Exelente, leí muchas reseñas negativas del producto, pero al menos a mi me fue muy bien, es un aceite fluido con un aroma a nuez muy ligero apenas perceptible y con un color muy ligero, según e leído estás deben de ser las características de un auténtico aceite de argán, aplicó una pequeña cantidad en mi rostro y se absorve muy rápido y para nada deja sensación grasosa o brillosa, no me causó ningún brote y me deja la piel supersuave , en el cabello tampoco lo deja con apariencia grasienta, claro hay que moderarse con la cantidad con una bomba o dos es más que suficiente, además rinde muchísimo llevo ya dos meses usándolos a diario y apenas voy con una cuarta parte.

I accidentally stumbled upon Argan oil. And thank god for that. This is a great product and really helps with the dryness. It needs to be used in small quantities - a few drops should be enough. I am using it on my hair, face and neck. It is quickly absorbed on the skin and moisturizes well. At the same time it doesn't feel oily/greasy. This is what makes this oil unique and unlike any other oil that I have used. Planning to using it for long term.
