Vornado VFAN Mini Classic Personal Vintage Air Circulator Fan, Green

Caution 120 volts so not usable in the UK or Europe. A very compact and we'll designed fan.

Had to return 2 of these now. The first worked for around 15 minutes before dying and the second one didn't work at all. Yes they look nice but a lack of reliability lets these down badly.

I owned two beautiful Vornado fans back in the States, I was excited to find this... however this fan came in a damaged box (looks like it was returned previously. Upon opening it, it doesn't even look like Vornado... I plugged it in to try it and it is sounds like the motor is broken and within seconds I can smell burning wire that filled my entire living room. Horribly dissapointing.

This product is not suitable for use in the uk - don't know how they managed to sell it here with a us plug.

It surprises me that they send a fan that’s 110 V to the UK that’s 220 V

Just got this fan today to use on my desk at home. I wasn't quite sure if it would fit because when the description states 'MINI', I thought it was going to be a SMALL fan (Lol) so needless to say, I was quite surprised when I saw the box it came in and then taking it out. Well, my concerns were for nothing because the fan fits perfectly on my desk that has a monitor, desktop tower, keyboard, ps4, etc. It's a very nice retro looking fan. The speeds are low and high and it's very quiet on the low setting and not so bad on the high setting either. Puts out very nice air flow. And the Teal color is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love it and I'm happy that I chose this one out of all the fans that I looked at here on Amazon.

Este ventilador tiene buena potencia para el tamaño. Cuenta con dos velocidades, la primera es suficiente para refrescarte en la ofcina, la segunda esta perfecta para los dias en que llegas de la calle todo acalorado y necesitas refrescarte rapido. No es tan pequeño, pero no es tan grande como para estorbar. Adjunto fotografias. La forma en que esta diseñado, hace que el aire sea direccionado a un punto en particular, deja una sensacion de mator potencia. En cuanto al ruido, en la velocidad uno no esta mal, en la velocidad dos si notas el ruido como de una pequena turbina. Yo casi todo el tiempo lo tengo en velocidad uno ya que es suficiente. Le doy cinco estrellas.

So these are the pro's and con's: Pro's: -This is a beautiful little fan especially if you love military green that shines like a car. - Nothing metallic about it but honestly I don't think it matters because it's a genuinely good looking fan. Something out of a movie? - It's heavier than it looks which makes it feel solid. It's heavy enough to feel like a pro point is what I'm trying to say. - this will provide enough cooling potential for one person, not an entire room like the other vornado's - perfect for the personal occasion - be it study time, work or those nights when your wife kicks you out of bed during summers and you have to crash on the couch. Cons: - speed 1 is quiet as heck. So quiet that the first time I switched it to speed 1 I dint even realize it was on. Speed one feels like a casual breeze. Speed 2 however sounds like the smallest jet engine or an efficient hair dryer. Something you have to get used to. It doesn't bother me but some people do get bothered by it. It's understandable. All in all - would I recommend it? Ofcourse! Just look at it! Who wouldnt want that? I've even put it up next to the Trident gum box so you get an estimate of how large this is.

I really like this fan. It's aesthetically pleasing, does the job, appropriately quiet, and seems sturdy. I do think the price is kind of steep for what it is (if it was $10 cheaper, it would be an amazing deal), as you can get other decent similar-sized fans for around half the price, but it is nice to have for the hot weather and transfers well as you move (streamlined, classic design) or upgrade to different homes. It does have a 5-year warranty, which is nice in case it does break. Update: On the higher speed setting, a rattling sound can be heard (and it's on a stable surface), I'm not sure why that is, and I've tried cleaning it. It's not super noticeable, but you can definitely hear it, and it can get annoying. For the higher price tag, I don't think it should be happening. 2nd Update: I contacted an Amazon representative technician for product support and described by issue. While the issue could not be resolved, a replacement fan was immediately sent to me, and this one seems to be working much better! No annoying rattling sound, so I guess the first one I got had some sort of defect. I'm very happy with my fan now!
