Chair Defender: Keep Pets Off of Your Furniture! (Beige)

Works great for pets and little children (we have an 18 months old) who loves to climb on EVERYTHING. Had purchased one for our couch which worked so well we purchased two additional ones for chairs. Definitely worth them money.

I purchased the couch and chair defenders to keep a German Shepard who had ACL surgery from jumping on and off the couch and lounge chairs.They are very well made and work great! They come with a board that is velcroed to the defender that can be used to secure it between the cushion and arm rest which is very nice if you like.I’m so happy with my purchase and I highly recommend this product.

These are great for keeping pets off the furniture.

We have someone in the home who is mildly allergic to dogs, and our little beagle / cocker spaniel mix's hair and dander can be problematic. Keeping her off the furniture and our regular handwashing do wonders to help with that issue. Keeping her off the furniture has been hard, as she isn't crated during the day, and she's really athletic. We tried piling different items on the furniture and also tried covering them with slippery tarps. Both of these options were a hassle to set up and move aside - who wants to live like that? Plus, she continued to either move the items off to get to the couch, or lie down on the tarp itself. These couch defenders are great. She hasn't challenged them. They expand to whatever width you need, and when we want to clear them off, we simply compress them and tuck them behind the furniture. A dog or cat who is really determined to be on the furniture may not be put off by these, but they work great for us. We have a chair defender and two couch defenders for the two loveseats we want to protect. I was considering crating her while we're gone, but now we don't need to. Everyone is happier.

They do work. Just wish I didn't have to use the. Lol but they do cover the furniture and are easy to unfold and refold and store nicely

I have two large dogs, one who has chewed every coach I've ever owned. He's not terrible, but eventually, as he's sitting on it, he'll start licking the cushion and chew a hole. When I found this I was so happy and I finally bought furniture that I like. I've had them (one couch defender and 2 chair defenders) for a few months and my dogs don't even go near the furniture. The dog that chewed the furniture and will do anything to sit on something comfortable doesn't even try to push these off. I seriously tried everything before this and would have saved so much money if I had known about this. They're also very easy to put up and they're compact, so it slides away nicely when I want to sit on my furniture. Highly recommend!!

Works like a charm. I was working hard everyday to pile random stuff on the couch, or tent it with a sheet, but the pesky dog kept finding a nook and cranny to jump in and sleep and get hair EVERYWHERE. When googling options the shock pads seemed mean, and then I came across this. It expands super easy and collapses super thin. I just put it between the end table and couch when not in use, or slide under the couch. When expanded, I just pop the throw pillows behind it and the ends stick down enough to anchor in between the cushions and arm of the course to keep it in place. Our 8 year old, sneaky medium/large sized pup doesn't even try to get on the couch. Works so great I have two now, for couch and chair!
