## Description

Chalk lines are fantastic for laying out perfectly straight lines for nailing or laying tile as well as numerous other projects. Tajima’s Chalk-Rite 10.5 oz. Snap chalk line red powder dye is a wind resistant, water repellent, extra strong chalk made to leave long lasting marking lines. It is fade resistant and makes a sharp and extremely bold marking line. It has been specially formulated to prevent caking and clumping and comes in a convenient, easy pour, moisture proof bottle with a screw cap nozzle.

Review: Azul fluorescente ideal carpinteros y herreros. - Perfecto. Se me fue la mano con la cantidad, pero el color es ideal para madera y metal. Entonces si hacés carpintería y/o herrería, el color azul fluorescente es un MUST. A la chocla/chalk line no hay que llenarla a tope, hay que dejarla un poco vacía para que el hilo pueda impregnarse en tiza y que a su vez pueda enrollarse y estirarse de forma fluida. En mi caso, con el calibre de 1 mm me resultó muy bueno, para precisión es mejor la de 0.5 mm pero si la usas en herrería, un borde filoso corta la soga. La de 1 mm es más resistente y combina perfecto con un nivel laser 3D 360º de haz verde.

**Q: this is about 10 times the price of DeWalt or Irwin, is it worth that much?**
A: If you just are a framer and it’s not that critical where things are placed. I’m a commercial Glazer our doors have to be perfect it’s definitely worth the extra price to have a quality chalk and fine line.

**Q: if i use this to snap a line on my wall/ceiling, can i use a wet rag to wipe away the line when done? does it stain or leave a yellowish color behind?**
A: DO NOT USE TAJIMA PERMANENT CHALK ON YOUR WALLS (won't come off or very hard to come off walls, hands, furniture, etc), UNLESS YOU ARE COVERING THEM WITH CABINETS OR SOMETHING ELSE WHERE THE LINE WILL NEVER BE SEEN.....Try small spot on your wall that may be behind a couch to see if a wet rag will wipe off chalk without leaving a yellowish color behind.  Remember Yellow chalk is easiest to clean, then Blue and last Red....Now, it depends on what type of paint your walls are? If your walls are Gloss or Semi-gloss there should not be a problem after wiping walls with wet rag nor should there be any yellowish residue left behind.  Gloss, Semi-gloss, Eggshell walls have a smooth finish and the purpose for this type of paint is to wipe and clean things off the walls.....Gloss being the easiest to wipe and clean......If you have Flat paint, you will more than likely will have a Yellow residue due to Flat paint is absorbent. I buy Tajima Chaulk boxes (Red Chalk Box is a thinner braided line and will snap a fine line.....Dark Blue Chalk box is thicker line and will snap a thicker line).  Only use Tajima chalk with Tajima Chalk boxes or they will cake up and get stuck with other chalk that is not as fine...... If you use other chalk box brands with Tajima chalk you will get a thicker line, since most of the chalk boxes at your store are a thicker line and do leave a mess.

**Q: If this gets on clothing does it stain or does it wash out easily?**
A: Blue washes out. Red stains

**Q: Can I use this to keep ants out of my house?**
A: Probably but that would be quite expensive. I would suggest diatomaceous earth for ants.

Perfecto. Se me fue la mano con la cantidad, pero el color es ideal para madera y metal. Entonces si hacés carpintería y/o herrería, el color azul fluorescente es un MUST. A la chocla/chalk line no hay que llenarla a tope, hay que dejarla un poco vacía para que el hilo pueda impregnarse en tiza y que a su vez pueda enrollarse y estirarse de forma fluida. En mi caso, con el calibre de 1 mm me resultó muy bueno, para precisión es mejor la de 0.5 mm pero si la usas en herrería, un borde filoso corta la soga. La de 1 mm es más resistente y combina perfecto con un nivel laser 3D 360º de haz verde.
