People even made tea from the leaves, stalks and especially the flower buds of the plant. (It does make a very nice tea, by the way. Get your fine strainer out! You can preserve some of the tea concentrate for use during winter months.) Unlike, the plethora of scams often touted as "cure-all" remedies for every known malady, self-heal actually had medicinal benefits. Those were most likely due to the 'rosemarinic acid' the plant produces. It is a well-known antioxidant compound. Of course, many hugely over-stated testimonials for Self-Heal ( or All-Heal, as it was sometimes known) still abound in dusty old books, and even in a few newer publications, usually ones claiming "miracle" cures. For example, it has been wildly over-touted, even as a 'cure' for cancer, AIDS, and many other major maladies. The plant (Prunella Vulgaris) still grows in considerable abundance, as a largely unrecognized weed that pops up virtually everywhere in moderate climate areas. It re-germinates annually in virtually any uncut 'waste areas' where it grows and flowers, such as alongside old railway right-of-way beds, and back in the shoulders of older roadways, including all along any old abandoned dirt roads, and old pathways through the woods. Review: Prolactin - Self heal is great for lowering prolactin. I used it up alongside P-5-P and I noticed better energy and better libido

Old Remedy Is Still Around
Self Heal (Prunella Vulgaris) is an age-old plant-based remedy, that once served as a widely-known 'generic treatment' for whatever ailed you, way back in the days before modern pharmaceuticals. People even made tea from the leaves, stalks and especially the flower buds of the plant. (It does make a very nice tea, by the way. Get your fine strainer out! Gave me a side effect I wasnโt expecting!
I got this because I read it may help lower blood pressure. It helped somewhat but the real thing Iโve noticed is how soft and nice it has made my skin! Iโll keep repurchasing just based on that.

Up and ready to go...
Well my first review was a bad one due to not receiving anything. I was reimbursed and sent another bottle. I've been taking the pills for two nights and for two days I have been waking up early and energetic. I think it's the pills. Hope this continues.....

My bottle did not contain the quantity of 60. ...
My bottle did not contain the quantity of 60. I will reorder only one more time but if Iโm short again I will drop this product. Edit: I raised my review from 1 star to 4 stars. First, because I did order a second bottle and it contained the 60 capsules advertised, so i will attribute the first bottle to a minor packaging error or QC. Secondly, the seller sent a personal apology via postal mail along with two bottles of the product to make up for it. That certainly wasn't necessary by any means I'm always willing to give people/sellers/manufacturers/restaurants the benefit of the doubt and try again a second time before writing the off. I will continue to purchase from this seller in the future.

Wonderful health aid
I love the self-heal. It stands by it's name. It is helpful in many health issues. Lungs, liver, kidneys, etc. It does have side effects that some people might not like. For instance people over 50 years of age not having a menstrual cycle could start spotting. Other than that, it is great. Please protect this from the Pharmaceutical companies due to the fact that if people use this they won't need so many of their products. Thank you

Be careful!
I think the action of these pills supresses prolactin so it could make your libido go crazy. BE CAREFUL.
