Most successful method I have found in 40 years
This is the best system I have ever encountered & I have about 60 years in the game. I have been air layering for 40 years. This is the easies & more important most successful method I have ever encountered. I have used it for 2 years. I have reproduced Armenia grapevines from 1920 to be given to others. The BEST, yet.

I have not used it yet. Don't know yet if it works the way advertized.

Not for the novice.
Not for the clumsy non gardener. Seems like a good idea though. The gas utility is going to tear out two of our 30 year old trees we have had since moving in. My sentimental hope was to give them a new life using these things. Well, the instructions don't really explain the concept so I am hoping they just work. Of course the snap together parts don't hold and I lost the fluffy soil disks the moment the wind blew and they popped apart. Nowhere can I buy more of the magic disks so I am hoping this will work with less of the medium. They need to supply small wire ties to keep it closed at the four corners. Also explain if it will work on a descending branch would be good to know. Please sell more of the soil medium disks.

Arrived cracked
A couple pieces were cracked upon arrival, a couple more cracked as I was carefully using pliers to open the holes as per instructions. This is a great idea but it seems that the plastic they use is very brittle. I taped them up as best I could, maybe I can still get some use out of them. I would like to see someone produce a similar product with higher quality materials. These are too expensive for what they are to arrive broken.

Not satisfactory
The pack of Dip n grow was damaged and empty, also one of the 2" shells were broken, I may have recoeved a returned product. Seems like it will still be able to serve the purpose, but I was not impressed by this kit because it arrived with damage pieces, empty rooting hormone packet, and the plastic seems brittle.

Have not used yet, weather here has been too cold, icy, snowy. want to try it out in spring when things will not freeze.

Hard to attach to the plant, but great for cloning. I am using this on a Tomato.
