Does the 5-1 replace the blade wash, or should i still use the oster blade wash

I use the Oster Blade Wash to wash clippers. 5-in-1 is only good for cooling and oiling/storing the blades. Not so much for washing them. Also, more expensive than just a blade wash.

Does this have a fragrance??

It has a distinct fragrance. Not really an “odor”. It doesn’t have too strong of a chemical smell. It’s a fairly pleasant smell. Strong when you spray it, but it fades pretty quick.

So you apply while blade is off the clipper or while is on?

You can apply while is on. Just don’t apply too much because it can get inside the clipper and damage the electrical components. Make sure that the machine is upside down when you spray it that way any extra fluid will fall on the floor and not inside the machine

Is this safe to use on nail clippers?

Not intended for non- mechanical devices without motors.

Highly recommended to keep sanitary.

I have been cutting my hair with my Oster clippers for 15+ years I cut my hair really short using the 1" adapters and up until this point I have always cleaned my clippers by brushing and blowing out as much hair as possible before applying the clipper oil before storage. Recently I had a mini breakout of pimples in my head and after chatting with Google AI it said that I have been putting too much oil on my clippers before storage and that it is imperative to sanitize my clippers before putting them away. This Clipper Care Spray does everything in 1 can...it cleans, sanitizes and lubricates my clippers...there is no need to buy anything else and I would highly recommend getting this product ASAP.

Can’t get past the smell

Great for lubricating shaver blades etc. but has a strong chemical Smell which lingers and does not dissipate, may be great For barbershop or hair salon, but not good in the whole personal use.
