Review: Works well for such a small size. - This unit has a very large flow capacity for a small size body. Installed easily on my air compressor. Air/soap tested it under full pressure and found no leaks. The pressure gage is quite small, making it necessary to get very close to read. Overall, it works well and is an excellent product for the price.
Review: Excellent Product that I very satisfied with - I bought it and used it for a Mastercraft 8 gallon air compressor. It works perfectly on it with no air leaking at all and with the regulator works well. It is made delicately with fine finishing. No doubt the price is attractive. I would like to remind two things again although I believe that it is well known: Pay attention to the air flow direction, and, pay good attention to the torque applied, not too loose but not too tight to the end either that will kill it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the max psi on the input side**
A: The instructions just say max. pressure 145  lbs. with no mention of input or out put.  I assumed input but after reading the add I see it is out put. So I don't think I can help you.  I would try to check directly with the mfg.

**Q: Is it supposed to hiss (leak air) when it is set to a pressure lower than the tank?**
A: As you adjust the pressure downward, the regulator will let a little wisp of air out as you turn the knob.  However, it should not leak air at any other time.  If yours is leaking continuously, something is wrong with it.I should add that William R and I both assume the hissing is "leakage out" from the regulator, such as around the knob.  The regulator will 'leak through' to maintain the set pressure downstream.  If your downstream system has a leak, the regulator will allow air through to make up for the leakage.  This would be normal operation.

**Q: When looking down at the top of the knob, what side is the gauge on? And, does it have an L or R stamped on it?**
A: It should have arrows or in/out to indicate the direction of flow for your connections so base your fittings based on that. with the supplied bracket and the right fittings (1/8" npt nipple and 1/8" npt female/female elbow), you can have the gauge face out, up, down, left or right.

**Q: Would the regulator fit on a 24 oz CO2 bottle with a pin valve**
A: That I do not know, But these type of gauges and regulators are meant to be used with compressed air usually no more than 250 psi. And to the best of my knowledge, compressed gases such as C02 is normally around 3000 psi. To get a definite answer, I would consult with the manufacturer of the product.
