Works great. Bought two of these. Great for small game hunting a lot easier to carry than ammo package.

This is a great ammo carrier. Sturdy, great travel storage and convienient to use. I will be ordering a few more.

I was thinking this would be a nice way to carry spare .22 ammo while hunting. It works and I mostly like it, but it definitely could use some improvements. Pros: - Holds short, long, long rifle and magnum .22 rounds. Some reviews said it doesn't hold magnums, but apparently there was an older version that didn't. The current version definitely holds .22MAG rounds. - Pocket clip allows you to clip it to your pocket or to a specific place in a backpack/bag where it will be easy to find and access. - Lid has very positive clicks that hold it in the right position to empty the rounds from each chamber. - Since each chamber holds 5 rounds of .22LR, it's ideal for owners of 5-shot .22LR revolvers such as the North American Arms minis. No surprise it has the NAA logo on it, eh? - Blackie Collins Logo. I'm not really sure what hand he had in this product, but he was a innovative and respected knife-maker before he passed about 10 years ago, so if he had a hand in designing a better way to carry .22 ammo, it's no surprise. Cons: - It's thicker and heavier than I expected. I'd prefer it to be thinner so it's easier to carry. A version that has only a single row of 5 or 6 chambers would be perfect. - The pocket clip is plastic and molded with the rest of the unit. It seems likely that over time, the plastic will get more brittle and the pocket clip will eventually break off. It would be MUCH better to have a steel pocket clip. - The lid can get lost. The lid needs to either have a lanyard that attaches it to the main body or it needs to only slide so far in one direction or the other so it's not easily removed. The current design allows the lid to slide all the way off and that means it can easily get lost, and this product becomes worthless without the lid. - Ammo is loose and moves around/rattles. I don't know the best way to fix this problem since it would be different for short, long rifle, and magnum, but there needs to be a small amount of tension in each chamber to keep the ammo from moving around and causing damage to the ammo. It might be possible to design this where the bottom can be swapped out to fit the cartridge, but it really seems like the best thing would be to make a specific version of the product for each cartridge with springs fitted into the bottom of each chamber to provide tension.

Well made 22lr carrier. Holds 50 rounds that you can throw in your pocket without them going everywhere. Tube magazine simple to load fast. Slide the lid back over the tube & drop 10 rounds...fast. Product is very well made and high quality. Will buy more...

I had to write a review , I took this out of the package and was surprised by its durability and feel its got a nice solid feeling and a smooth satin exterior loaded it with 22 short ammo and you can have 7 rounds per hole for a total of 70 rounds of ammunition, the belt clip feels comfortable just clipped to my waistband even without a belt the weight is right , what a good product, what an excellent price ... I might buy a few more and store more of my ammo in them for my tube fed. I have a big bulky speed loader for the tube fed which reloads all 16 shorts at once but it's annoying to just carry with me in the woods ... this I can easily carry a ton of ammunition that will not be that much slower than my quickloader , I won't be able to full load my tube with 7+7 but I think that's an OK trade off for the smaller form factor. If the tube was just a little longer I could fit 8 per tube then full load. I can almost fit an 8th 22 short in the tube . So close xD. Maybe I'll print an expansion chamber top to allow the last round , but that would take away from the sleekness. Overall feels great , think I'll immediately buy a 2nd and think about buying more
