The ignitor was easy to install...took like 15 to 20 min. Works perfectly and saved my mom hundreds of dollars.

Easy to install
Allowed me to get my furnace working again. Easy to install. Ordered a spare to keep near the furnace. Do a continuity check on your ignitor if nothing else appears wrong, but you don't get flame. At least you'll know if the ignitor needs to be replaced and it might be the only thing wrong.

Perfect drop-in replacement
This was the perfect drop-in replacement for my cracked ignitor. Took me all of five minutes to replace. Being an engineer just a word of advice to the novice person, wear nitrile gloves and never touch the element itself. Oils from your skin can damage or reduce the lifespan of the ignitor element.

I have never seen apartments replace a furnace. You only use your furnace 6 mo. Out of a yr. DIY
I was told that I needed a new igniter during a annual furnace tuneup and given a estimate of $420.89. When my furnace wouldn’t light this year. I figured it had gone out. I went on YouTube to see if I could do it myself. I’m retired and on a fixed income and didn’t have $420. Found that there was only 2 screws holding it in place and I could purchase it on Amazon for $13.90. My furnace was built in 97 so I also replaced a couple more original parts ( Draft inducer motor blower & pressure switch. Replace all 3 for $99.85 and 1 hr labor.

Direct replacement...
I purchased 2 items, one was this one and the other was a genuine Goodman furnace replacement. Parts looked identical, even had same markings. Ignitor has been working for the last 2 months without a hitch...
