According to the company, they are offering a very high quanity of beta glucans, the bioactive compound derived from various mushrooms. They state: "Our unique blend of powerful mushrooms is high in beta-glucans, which naturally support your immune defences...100% organic heteropolysaccharides derived from Cordyceps sinensis, Ganoderma lucidum, Lentinula edodes, Hericium erinaceus, Grifola frondosa, Trametes versicolor, Poria cocos and Agaricus blazei." These are quite impressive claims. I ingest Cordyceps sinensis, from bulk powder, as well as other mushroom powders. I am aware of the potential health benefits associated with the various compounds they contain. Beta glucans have been shown to possibly offer health benefits relating to cognitive/neurological aspects, immune system, cardiovascular system. Some studies have shown positive aspects regarding cancer issues, too. The Nutrition Facts: per 1 gram serving: 2 calories , Fat 0g, Sat. Fats 0g, Carbohydrate 0g, Sugars 0g, Fiber 0g, Protein g, Sodium 0g. Interestingly, they provide more detailed nutritional information, based on a 100g quantity: 190kcal, Fat 1.6g, Saturates 0g, Carbohydrate 30g, Sugars 30g, Fiber 24g, Protein 14g, Salt 0g. The numbers are aligned with the per serving data, which are statistically correct. The container is 50 grams, which provides 50 servings of 1 gram portion (1/2 teaspoon). While it seems a bit pricey, I am still impressed with the quality of the ingredients/components. I wish they gave more quantifiable details about the distribution of the mushrooms, and possibly the percentage or actual quantity of beta glucans per serving. Overall, it's seems to be an excellent mushroom sourced supplement. It is exactly as described and depicted in the product details. Attached are photos to show real world images. Based on initial impressions, this mushroom supplement earns a solid 4.75 star rating, with a very high level recommendation.

I love a good powdered mushroom blend. Usually mushroom powder supplements come in capsule form so it was so nice to see a loose powder mushroom blend for a change. Hubs and I have been putting a teaspoon or more of a mushroom blend powder in our morning coffee everyday for at least a year and we feel it helps with all sorts of things - improved immunity and mental cognition to name a few. This blend has a very good variety of mushrooms such as Cordyceps sinensis, Ganoderma lucidum, Lentinula edodes, Hericium erinaceus, Grifola frondosa, Trametes versicolor, Poria cocos and Agaricus blazei, all of which are excellent for improved health. It tastes fine in coffee and all that is required is a stir before drinking because some of the mushroom powder tends to collect on the bottom of the cup.

This mushroom powder formula includes Cordyceps sinensis, Ganoderma lucidum, Lentinula edodes, Hericium erinaceus, Grifola frondosa, Trametes versicolor, Poria cocos and Agaricus blazei. All of these are known for medicinal qualities. I take lions mane (hericium,) and Cordyceps and Reishi (Ganoderma lingzhi ) already, and I can attest to their immune strengthening and cognitive enhancement properties. This formula dissolved well in liquids. While making a tea from this powder is probably best, and the taste is quite good in coffee or other hot berverages, one can also dissolve it in a morning smoothie. While a bit pricey, price is in keeping with some of the other well known mushroom formulas and is somewhat less than Paul Stamets’ formulae.

My package was damaged in transit, but it was bubble-wrapped and well-protected, so I'm not penalizing myself. Such harm, I believe, is uncommon. I really feel bad rating this lower stars just because my jar came with half the powder spilled throughout the plastic bubble wrap due to a completely broken and loose lid but....I was looking forward to enjoying this product, not having to lick it off a shipping envelope and sucking on shards of plastic.... The reason I want to rate this higher is because it is a good mushroom product! If it arrives intact. But it's too expensive to waste even a dusting of powder so having loose and cracked lids is rather disappointing. This is a very potent and high quality powder that's more concentrated than other mushroom products out there. But yes, it is very expensive for only 1.8 ounces, or less if half your 1.8 ounces is lining the floor of a FedEx truck. I personally enjoy the flavor. It's bitter but good, savory, rich, nutty, earthy but not fungal or moldy tasting. Unfortunately the flavor of mine was tainted by a distinctly soapy plastic taste. Too bad it's so expensive.

This is a really nice, high quality and concentrated mushroom complex. It has everything you need to gain the excellent benefits of these mushrooms. I add this to my coffee every morning and sometimes I also have some in the evening. It is expensive so usually once a day, but the flavor is delicious and I crave it. The company suggests to take this for 20 days and then give yourself a week off. I think that's to allow the body to reset and then you can restart again. Either way, I'm loving this and although expensive for the amount you get it is absolutely worth every penny. Will purchase again.

I like this adaptogen powder because it comes free from additional additives. As an athlete, I take this supplement in my tea to keep my immune system strong and to aid in recovery. It is mostly tasteless, but if you take a full teaspoon, you can slightly taste it over matcha powder. I wouldn't say its a bad taste, just slightly mushroom flavored. I blend it with matcha as a mentioned and it easily absorbs into the liquid (no clumping) with my matcha whisk. Overall, good product.

The more we learn, here in the west, about the health benefits of mushrooms the more we understand how important they are for our overall health. This powder is several beneficial mushrooms in one place. I was particularly interested because of the lions mane and how it helps the cognitive side effects of aging. I believe in the product and I'm sure that has something to do with the outcome (placebo effect) but I seem to think more clearly, focus better, and just feel more in control since beginning to use this.
