Made rolling pie crust SO much easier!I've
I've been making pies for a long time, and my favorite pin - until now- was one which had no handles and was the same width from end to end. I had tried tapered pins but didn't like them as much. Decided to try the Fletchers'Mill rolling pin and was so glad to have it. It's a good weight, and the weight definitely worked in my favor. Made a cherry pie to try it out, and it rolled smoothly and effortlessly. I'm so happy with my purchase!

Really pleased with this very nice dowel rolling pin
Received my pin just the other day and was so happy to find a pin that was reasonably heavy, straight and long enough to cover a wider dough. It was natural wood, but smooth. I have never used a dowel pin before and was concerned that it actually might be a little too big to maneuver, but I have used it once now and was pleasantly surprised to find that it worked like a dream and I didn't have any trouble changing direction (and I have some arthritis in my hands too). It just feels well balanced. Would recommend!
