It can ! It is to call war, help and attack. So sometimes it is to say you are under attack and it will be too late, but it tells them where the enemy is at least!

Does it actually sound like the horn from the movie?

It is a hollow horn, I don't know if it's possible to get it to sound like the movie one... I guess "maybe" if you know how to play the horn :)

Does anyone know how to make this sound like the real horn of Gondor?

Make a pout with your mouth, put it on the horn and blow into it letting the air out through a "slit" on your lips. Like blowing on a tree leaf to make it sound. Hope that helps, because it's tricky
