This is a nice big spread and I think the color was exactly as described. It's not supposed to be a thick spread but I find it to be a nice medium weight. It's very well made and washes we. No more fuzz in the dryer than I expected on first wash and dry. I didn't notice any unraveling or discoloration. I bought a king size for a queen bed but probably could have used the queen size spread. But it's long enough and covers the pillows too. I'm very happy with this spread. It's not to heavy or hot.

This is a nice product for our needs: 1) We have a Cal King with a box spring + mattress, so we needed a cover that goes to the floor on both sides and the end to cover the box spring. They don't make a lot of oversized spreads anymore what with platform beds being more popular now. I measured the cover when it arrived, and it actually measures 121.5 x 121.5 so it is truly oversized and goes completely to the floor on all sides. NO worries about the King size fitting a Cal King - it is perfect! 2) Our cattle dog sleeps on the bed with us, so I wanted a spread that easily goes into my home washing machine for frequent cleaning. Quilts are too bulky and have to be commercially washed, and duvet covers are a pain in the neck to get on/off. This is light and is easy to wash in my standard agitator machine on full load. Also fits easily in the drier, and dries quickly because it is light weight (unlike quilts which take forever to dry). 3) In California we do not need anything heavyweight, so this lightweight chenille is perfect. It does not give warmth, so if that is what you are looking for this is not it. But we don't want warmth - we use a traditional blanket and live in a warm climate. 4) This one is IMPORTANT - I am tired of buying synthetic blend fabric which "pill" and look cheap and horrible within a few months. This is 100% cotton !! I know for a fact this will never pill because this is the second one I bought - the first one has been on my full size guest bed for several years and has never "pilled." Now, for a couple notes: First, I originally bought the White, but returned it for the Ivory. We have a modern/traditional them in bright whites, taupes, winter whites, greys and blues, and I thought the bright white which matches my bright white trim would be great. Nope - the White is so stark/harsh white that if you have ANY other less white hues it does not work. So I returned for the Ivory which is a creamy or Winter white and it looks great. On the bed it reads creamy/winter white and blends well with all my white and grey tones. The Ivory is not that yellow cream, it's just a warm winter white. Second, I fully assume being 100% cotton it will shrink so I will plan on washing it on warm/cold and drying on low. Being hugely oversized it literally touches the floor on all sides out of the box, so even if it shrinks 6 inches on all sides it's plenty big enough for my Cal King bed to cover the box springs. Lastly, this is a beautiful, lightweight spread. Can't tell you how lovely the bed looks when the bedspread goes completely to the floor - just makes it look so inviting and beautiful. I'm so happy it worked, because there are ZERO other options out there that fit all my criteria of size, washability, fabric content.

This is a nice, generously sized bedspread however it is MUCH thinner than portrayed in the Beatrice advertisement photos. It looks fluffy in those photos. It is not a fluffy bedspread and imo will require an additional blanket if used in winter. Despite that, it is subtlety elegant, pretty good quality and washed up nicely. The shams are of equally good quality. Some other comments complained of shedding. I observed quite a bit of lint in the lint trap (similar to a load of fluffy towels) however no significant shedding or fuzz otherwise. Overall pretty happy with the purchase. I paid $70 for a queen size, which seems like a pretty fair price for a set, however, if you want the shams, they are not included and are at an additional cost of about $15 each. I have a pillow top mattress, low profile box spring and a frame with rollers (total height of about 26 inches). This bedspread was plenty large and long enough, almost a bit too long actually, but I suppose this is so that it can be tucked in over the pillows, old school style.

Have been a fan of chenille bedspreads since a child in the 1950's/60's. People need to understand that these types of blankets have always been a thin top blanket. They're not meant to be a heavy blanket. They're a coverlet sort of blanket. They make a statement with their decorative plumes and designs. They're a comfortable memory for me. I've bought two over the past month. Love them both.

I love this reasonably priced white king Chenille Bedspread. It is lightweight and very soft as you would expect from this type of material and is what I wanted. I can’t say anything about the colors as I wanted white and it is a very nice white. My only problem with it is the size. It is truly 120” but the 118” is much closer to 110” and does not work with my King bed. Otherwise I would keep it. The package was labeled as a King but no size tag on the bedspread. I even ordered the exact same bedspread from Nordstrom Rack thinking perhaps the first one was mislabeled but had the same size problem with that one. I will point out as it is a chenille fabric you would have to expect it to give off lint for a bit of time. Perhaps a few spins in the dryer would take care of it. But don’t plan to wear black clothing as you make your bed for awhile.

Very cheap product with little chenille. I purchased for a spare bedroom and I was pleased that they fit the bed that I was dressing, however I would not purchase again.

This bedspread is gorgeous. Feels like the chenille from my childhood. Soft, warm, cozy. Washed and dried beautifully. Lots of fuzz in the dryer filter, to be expected. I love this. This was the best purchase on Amazon in a long time.

Very happy with this bedspread. I now have 2 Beatrice bedspreads. Very soft & cozy.Very happy with both. Also have purchased as gifts for family. They love them as well. Purchased all at a reasonable price.
