Would this work to change region/area code change on my oled c8 2018 model?

You should be able to change that with your magic remote, included with the set. This factory remote is no joke. You can reset everything imaginable with it, but can do incredible damage in the process, to where your tv won't even be a tv any longer. The setting you are wanting to change is under the settings menu, general settings, and then location. Don't get this remote unless you have other issues and have researched the procedures to correct them.
