Stunning Wheels: Looks, Feel, and Performance
To date, as of 10/11/2023, I have ridden the wheels much. They are my favorite set. After 7 months of long riding, it is still true. The hubs role forever. I hit a curb with the front wheel and couldn't find or feel any signs of damages. I am 6 feet tall, 200 pounds and the wheels do not flex at any point while I am riding. I have deliberately leaned hard from side to side while applying the brakes and I haven't felt any flexing of the wheels or heard any rotor rubbing. The wheels are exceptionally strong and I expect them to last a very long time. My next build will feature Elite wheels. Initial Reactions: I bought these for my Canyon Grail AL gravel bike after getting my wife a set for her Liv Avail back in March 2023. These wheels are the ones! The weight is light enough if you're not racing. I care about speed, but I don't need speed to come easy to me. I push any of my bikes to my desired average MPH when it comes to speed. To pass or leave me, regardless of what you're riding, you will have to earn it. Even with the 105 groupset, combined with mechanical disc brakes, this bike isn't too heavy with these wheels. The bike looks better, sounds better, and rides incredibly better than it did with the Fulcrum wheels. The stiffness is noticeable and people hear me coming on the trail. Whatever bearings the wheels came with, the set rolls forever! I am still so impressed! Folks might avoid them because of where they're made...not me and I am so glad that I bought ICANS, Superteams, and now Elite wheels.

Nice wheels.
I bought these wheels so I can use my gravel bike on the road more easily. I recently just switched to tubeless so my gravel wheels are no longer able to swap tires. First thing I notice, the craftmanship is exceptional. Granted these are my first carbon wheels, but comparing them to the aluminums that I used for years, they are more true, stiffer and overall just faster. The rear wheel is noisy not gonna lie but it is still tolerable. Compared to other high end wheels, they are less noisy though. If you are looking for obnoxiously loud wheel, this is not the one. My gravel wheelset is a DT Swiss Gravel LN. The cassette positions on both wheels are perfect, no shifter adjustment needed. The brake rotors, not so much. The front brake needs repositioning every transition. This wheelset comes with QR endcaps and a roll of unbranded tubeless tape. I did not use any of those but the tubeless tape seems to be of standard quality. If you're planning on setting this wheelset tubeless, note that you have to buy the valves separately. Edit - after more than a year of owning: So these wheels (38 deep) enables me to keep up with a group who averages 19mph and still have some juice left after each ride (30mi/1000ft and 50mi/1500ft). My bike is around 23 lbs on a ride day. Really impressed by this improvement. After a year they stayed true but the bearings need servicing which is a matter of fact I would think. The hub started creaking. Unfortunately I hit a medium sized rock on the road one day and the rear rim got crushed, sidewall cracked and was separating from the inner structure. I rode another 50mi group ride not realizing the rear wheel is already compromised. Nothing significant happened except the rear tire was losing more pressure each day than usual. It's what led me to inspect the rear wheel. I bought another set of 50mm deep this time, but only replaced the rear wheel. New wheels are again trued and tensioned properly. But I am not liking how carbon are very susceptible to damages from road debris. This will be my last carbon set and would go back to aluminums if they break again.

Best Upgrade Ever
Best upgrade ever. I've been riding for about two years. I'm in great shape have competed in triathlons and ride at least ~110 miles a week. I thought I was a slow rider or had bad technique when I was with group rides turns out all I needed were these wheels. Power transfer is way more efficient. I've blown past all Strava segment PR's and I'm less fatigued during my rides. I absolutely love them and would highly recommend anyone buy these. My only complaint is the spin on the hub is noisy but I fixed it by adding a little grease. Other than that they've revolutionized my cycling experience and made me even more excited to ride more often.

- Read BEFORE BUYING - Amazing Value
First - For the price, you cannot beat these wheels!! They are an incredible value and look amazing on the bike! Second - If you do not know much about wheel assembly, here are some tips. (1) Make sure you have correctly measured your current wheel/ bike setup. The product description says that after you place the order, the seller will contact you - they won't - so once you place the order, there is no going back. (2) These are deep-dish tubeless. I could not get the tire to sit properly in the wheel, so I bought an inner tube - problem fixed! You will not know if the tires will seat properly until you get them. For extra security, buy an inner tube and skip the headache entirely. If you buy a tube, make sure it is 700/25-32. If you decide to run tubeless you will need to buy valve stems - the wheels do not come with axles or valve stems! So be aware - you are only getting naked wheels. (3) These are "center lock" disc brakes. The "lock" is the standard Shimano cassette lock. The wheels do NOT come with the lock ring - you will have to buy it or switch from your other wheels. A lot of wheels have the external ring lock - which will NOT work on these wheels. You must buy the lock ring that has internal threads - e.g. the Shimano Cassette lock ring. (4) The wheels are naked, so you have to decide to buy breaks and a cassette or keep switching cassettes when you want to ride. (5) Make sure your bike has clearance for the tires you put on. The ones in the photos are Continental and they are amazing. Final thoughts --- Would HIGHLY recommend these wheels! but... do not forget --- the wheels do not come with ANYTHING at all... so when you order be sure to include... tires, tubes (if needed), valve-stems if you are truly going tubeless, sealant, cassette, breaks and lock ring. The total amount I spent to get the wheels on was close to $1,000 ( disc brakes, tubes, tires, a cassette, sealant, and locking rings.) Before your order make a list of what you have and what you need!

Decent
Pros: Cheap and light and are proving to be fairly durable. They're holding up to a 250lb rider on gravel and city streets. Went 20mm thru/ QR for my odd bike. They look super cool and have that neat carbon sound woo sound while riding. I saved 1 pound per wheel over the stock wheels on my Fuji Tread. Bearings seem smooth. The free hub is super loud! Louder than my Hope hubs on my MTB. It usually takes a few back pedals for pedestrians to quickly move out of my way. Cons: You're going to fight like hell to get TL 5000gp's on these but can. Emailing these people sucks, language barrier big time as to be expected. They will work with you though to correct mistakes. I requested 6 bolt hubs they had it listed that way on the final form. They shipped with centerlock hubs. They next day aired 6 bolt adaptors for me so I could make my bikepacking trip but still not what I wanted originally. The freehub need grease I took it apart before install and one of the pawls was jammed in and needed a bit of grease and fitting to get it working. Would buy them again. Got over 600 miles on them since purchase. Decent wheel for the price. Definitely transformed the feel of the bike. Edit: After a year of riding 1000k+ still going great. I ran over a 2x4 at 25mph on accident while following a buddy to close. He swerved I didn't, rims still spin true and smooth. Did 40 miles of some chunker gravel with the bike fully loaded still seems unphased. I got 3 flats again no issues with the wheels other than how difficult it is to stretch the Conti's on. The bike just glides along, very happy overall with the wheels.

Carbon has come along way.
Maybe a little deeper would have been better but honestly these are nice wheels. Very true right out of the box and the finish is really good for the pricepoint. I won’t blow smoke these don’t make me a whole bunch faster however they do maintain speed a little better and I like the engagement when pedaling. Free hub is loud but not obnoxiously so. Would I recommend these, yes. If my budget were a little bigger the next model up would have been nice but honestly these are great wheels and affordable as far as cycling gear goes.

Elite Wheel won't disapoint
Terrific wheelset. I bought the 50mm X 28mm and they measure 21.3mm internal and 28.3 external. The tubeless rim tape provided is good, there's no provided valve stems. I used 60mm stems and they are perfect. The quality is really good rims are true, the free hub has good POE and is medium loud. I would definitely buy again.
