It is based on the legendary King Hauler (item 300056301) - the "primeval father" of all Tamiya trucks. The King Hauler body has undergone a thorough tuning treatment and includes numerous new and changed parts based on the current American truck tuning scene. So the Tamiya designers built metal parts, chrome-plated plastic parts for a new distinctive look. Furthermore, the new Grand Hauler has a longer frame compared to the King Hauler and makes it a real show truck. I have had mine for a few years, since I only work on it in my spare time. **Q: Can you build it without the sleeper?** A: The shell is molded into one piece, but if your good with modeling you could probably cut the back off and redo it **Q: So everything comes with the truck except servos,esc,tx/rx. Does the truck come already painted blue?** A: No. The body is molded in basic white. That means you can paint it any color you like. Just be sure that you use paint for plastic model kits. **Q: what does the kit come with, does it have the drive motor and battery** A: The kit comes ONLY with the motor. The radio (transmitter and receiver), servos (for the steering, transmission, and trailer legs), Multi-Function Control Unit (MFC-01), and battery are all sold separately. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rc-Truck von Tamiya *by K***S on 19 October 2025* Top Bausatz.Wie beschrieben.Sehr zufrieden. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awsome RC Semi *by J***E on 10 July 2026* Amazing RC only complaint is shipping to arrive took for ever ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great service *by T***N on 25 June 2025* Brilliant kit to add to my fleet.
