I guess it could polish a small piece of glass. The polishing pieces are very small (wheels are about 2cm across and the other pieces are about Icm). if you are talking jewellery then yes, but I would think there are more appropriate kits.

Can this be used on plastic/ resin?

I use the item to clean various parts of taxi interiors. Child passengers leave all manner of substances stuck to seats and headlinings and the equipment contained within is very useful for the removal of matter from metal and plastics.

Can it polish gold rings?

With correct polish and using a dremel or equivalent yes, but thos is just a box of assorted things you use with a dremel, not on their own

Flimsy box and no guidance on polish grade

I bought this for use on guitar frets final polish stage. I normally use jewellers rouge to finish polish. The polishing pads were ok but left a lot of fine particles. I didn’t use the polish as there is no grade guide. The polishing pad adapter is good as it has quite a long thread to hold the pads on well. I haven’t used the rest of the pads

Used it to polish a small item. My small cordless drill in reverse gear was perfect for using these utensils. Good small value for money polishing kit.

Good product for the price.

Used for jewellery work. Did the job and treated carefully they are lasting. But I suspect they will wear out quickly. That said this is a good little box set.

Can’t fault this kit, works really well

Good kit, I’ve never used one before but it cleaned up a rusty old hunting knife brilliantly and got it back in useable order with a nice, smooth, shiny finish.
