**Q: How much sand will it take to fill**
A: we got 6 bags of play sand from home depot and it's plenty

**Q: Does this have a top/cover?**
A: The seats fold down for a cover.
Caution-mine has a remaining gap down the middle so small animal feet could get caught and it definitely will let in precipitation. I'll have to tarp the top after all I guess.

**Q: What are dimensions of shipping package?**
A: It was about 4.5'x1.5'x1'

**Q: Is the sandbox waterproof**
A: No, it is not.

light weight and easy to assemble. However not very durable. The screws that are used on the hinges could stand to be a little larger both in diameter and length. The wind took bot the backs off and split one of the cross beams so now I'm in the middle of repairing.
