What is it made of, the weight of the material, like 1060 , or is it cheap nylon?

It's made of high grade material, the red and black is 840 polyester, the grey is 600d nylon. Sturdy enough, don't worry about the quality.

Could this hold a 14 inch binder?

I'm afraid it can't, the length is not enough.

What color is the interior of the grey colored bag? Is it all black or is it light grey/white?

It's black. But still, I have had no problem finding what I need inside with the dark interior.

I think mine was most likely waterproof(I had the black version), however it didn't hold up long enough for me to use it during rainy weather. (Multiple spots ripped out and the strap broke quickly.)
