How do I determine size

good luck, the sizing is not consistent, we ordered some hats in the same size and they were not all the same size, apparently the seller cannot help when ordering on prime

My head measures about 22 1/2 inches. should i get a s/m or a large? i'm also a women !

Definitely NOT a large! I’m a female and my head measures 22” and the small/medium is WAY too large for me by a couple inches. I hope I can shrink it in the dryer because it falls right off my head! This hat is not adjustable, so it either fits or it doesn’t.

I love these hats! Why can't they be washed?

I have 2 of these hats, in black and light purple. I have washed and dried both and they came out fine.

If you’re a woman that can typically buy a hat off a rack, it’s a bit big, at least for me. I’m used to buying lots of hats and many are just too big. When I bought this white one, it, too, was a little big for me, I’m going to take it to my hat guy who can put a liner inside to make it fit perfectly. Hope that helps. Never measured my head, but I think it’s a size small.

Inaccurate Sizing – Not True to Standard Measurements

Although I chose the S/M size, the hat is still very large and does not fit properly. I believe the sizing is not standardized.

Comfortable

I find myself just on the cusp, at 58cms, of S/M and M/L. I ordered M/L and it's very comfortable, not too large, and very pleased.This hat isn't cheap-cheap, and I think it offers good value; it's well made, and although not lined has a nice wide band inside to sit on your head comfortably. Attention has been paid to detail.The dark blue (the standard colour?) is a nice French blue, and if it fades hopefully it will do so nicely!Would recommend!
