Simple and Reliable Alarm Clock Radio
I bought this clock because I wanted something simple for my bedside table, and so far it’s been a good choice. I like that it sets the time automatically and has two alarms, which makes it easy to use. The green display is clear without being too bright at night, and the snooze button works well. I also like having the battery backup in case the power goes out. The radio is decent, although the sound quality could be better. Overall, it’s a nice basic alarm clock that’s easy to use and does what it’s supposed to do.

I received an Emerson SmartSet Alarm Clock Radio with AM/FM Radio, Dimmer, Sleep Timer and .9" LED Display, CKS190 from the UK Amazon website.When I plugged it in it showed the display briefly before going dead. I have now discovered that it is only suitable for 120V 60Hz AC power and the UK is 240V!This information is not available on the Amazon UK website and one wonders why it is even advertised there and I find that I am not the first to point this out to Amazon.I have raised this issue days ago and have still not had the courtesy of a reply. I expect a full refund.
