Do NOT waste your money. We just finished a kitchen renovation and had this in storage after its purchase last year and took it out tonight to use for maybe the SECOND time since we purchased it and it SMOKED AND BURNED out after usage. PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!

Perfect for our needs here at work. We are using it to confirm the platen temps on commercial heat press equipment. I love the ease of use and not have to remember to turn it off as it shuts off after 7 seconds. Great item!

I love learning new things so I will practice and learn about the Emissivity and other technical things.Warning: Make sure you never point the red laser beam at anyone’s eyes or at a reflective object. That’s why I love the fact that there is a yellow warning label as a reminder and the option to shut the red laser light beam off. So I got this infrared laser thermometer because my husband loves to grill out and I want my meat completely done all the way through. No blood, no pink! It makes me sick to my stomach if I see pink in my meat. So with this thermometer he shouldn't have any problems getting my meat thoroughly cooked.This is an awesome thermometer. It came with a holster that you can slide on your belt. The holster is black, soft and has a Velcro closure. The thermometer is not to big. The hand held gun designs will fit perfectly in your hand. It came with a nine volt battery to get you started taking temps right away. You just point and pull the trigger. The temp among other things will be on the easily read display. This infrared targeting temperature gun can be used for SO MANY things. It came nicely packed, the shipping was fast. It comes with the user manual, the holster and they also include a 9V battery which is nice because I don’t usually have extras of those laying around the house.It looks great, feels great, fits in your hand, super easy to use. Turn it on, point it, squeeze the trigger, point the laser and it gives you the reading. There is multiple setting if this is something you will be using often so you can customize it to your specific needs. Ordered this to have for this summer. This is the time of year where we love to grill as to not heat up the house. We live in California and the summers get pretty hot here. We enjoy having friends and family come over and this laser thermometer makes life easier. What I like is that it's a laser! You don't have to burn your hand or hair off your arms reaching in to poke the meat with a thermometer. All you do it point and read what it says. We were happy that we received this right before the 4th of July. My husband prefers all the meat to be cooked medium rare (140 degrees). He used this on chicken two nights before the 4th with Chicken (165 degrees) thankfully he did because I went into labor early and we welcomed a new baby this 4th of July! We liked that it was light weight, easy to use and compact. It comes with a case. This would make I really cool Father's Day gift.
