Uni-ball Power Tank Ballpoint Pen
I recently purchased the Uni-ball Power Tank Ballpoint Retractable & Fine Ballpoint Pen with a Rubber Grip and 0.7mm tip, and I am more than satisfied with its performance. This pen has quickly become a staple in my home office setup. The first thing I noticed about this pen is its sleek design. The retractable feature is convenient, protecting the fine 0.7mm tip when not in use. This fine tip allows for precise and clean writing, making it suitable for everything from jotting down quick notes to more formal writing tasks. The rubber grip is another excellent feature. It provides a comfortable hold, reducing hand fatigue during long writing sessions. It's clear that Uni-ball has designed this pen with user comfort in mind. But what truly sets this pen apart is its performance. The ink flows smoothly and evenly, ensuring consistent writing without any skips or blotches. The black ink is bold and dries quickly, reducing the risk of smudging. In terms of value for money, the Uni-ball Power Tank Ballpoint Pen delivers. It's a high-quality, reliable writing tool at an affordable price point. In conclusion, whether you need a pen for everyday use or more detailed writing tasks, the Uni-ball Power Tank Ballpoint Pen is an excellent choice. It combines comfort, precision, and reliability, making it a great addition to any pen collection. Highly recommended!

Writes in any position
Wife uses these exclusively to write on her wall calendar. Other pens would take work to use. These are awesome. “If mama ain’t happy, nobody is happy “.

These are my go-to pens for everything from note taking to art.
These are my go-to pens for everything from note taking to art. The design of these pens allows one to write with them at any angle. I have issues with my neck, I don’t like to bend it to look down. I either use an easel or I hold my notebook/sketchbook up in the air in-front of my face, so I am writing with the pen held horizontally. It always works, it never smears, the ink flow is great and they help my neck be happy!

A Realistic Challenger to…
…the Fisher Spacepen! If you love writing with a Biro pen, you’ve probably tried out a Fisher Spacepen before, because their proprietary pressurized refill was unique in the industry. But Uniball made an arguably better pen without copying & pasting the Fisher design into their product. The Power Tank is very similar in design to many of their click retractable Biros. At first glance, you’d probably mistake it for a Signo 207 Gel pen, or a Jetstream RT ballpoint pen. But there are some differences. For starters, to change the refill, it’s not the tip of the pen that unscrews, it’s the knock mechanism. And then there’s the SNP refill. While many of the Uniball’s gel refills are interchangeable within the Uniball family of Gel Pens (as well as most of the other Japanese gel pens, with a few minor tweaks), the SNP refill is fundamentally different. Think of it as a regular Uniball ballpoint refill put into a a sealed pressurized gel refill. In order to make sure that there’s enough pressure left until the last drop of ink is pushed out, they had to increase the volume, and thus, the size of the refill. So much bigger, in fact, that the SNP refill will not physically fit into any other pen I know of, besides the Power Tank! The ink is smooth and dark/saturated, flow is consistent, and the ergonomics of the pen are so close to a regular Uniball pen that you’ll forget that you’re handling a “special” tool. I definitely recommend this pen for anyone who writes on wall mounted writing surfaces, or challenging climate conditions.

Writes Without Skipping, but Globs. Can’t win.
With a power point pen with a pressurized tube one would think the pen would not skip, and Good News, it doesn’t, or hasn’t yet [couple of weeks, daily use for art… at least at first]. The BAD News, it globs. After writing or drawing for awhile the ink accumulates on the tip and I have to stop and wipe the tip. At least it hasn’t skipped yet and ruined my artwork. Yes, I know, get a 1.0 or at least a 0.7, because the 0.5 and 0.38 are too small to ever work well in a ballpoint style pen. But I need the super fine lines in my artwork. Why? Because I like them. So I keep using felt tips Prismatics among others.

Pressurized ink
Great pen to keep when you need a reliable writer. I keep mine in the glove box - it withstands summer heat and freezing temperatures that gel pens cannot. Doesn't explode ink at +30c and still writes below freezing. Shelf life is good too since its pressurized so it does not dry out nearly as quickly. Would recommend

My go-to pen! 👍
My go-to pen. Even though the pen itself is plastic, the quality of the rubber and pen body feels great in the hand and while writing. The pressurized ink is an awesome advantage, and the writing is very smooth. Highly recommend!

Does not smudge
These are great pens for the lefties in your life because the ink does not smudge. No more ink covered hands.

Writes well, clicking the pen often will cause it to jam
They write well, but after a while it becomes difficult to retract the pen. Not sure if it’s an issue with the spring, but if you disassemble it and flip the spring it will fix the issue for a hundred or so more clicks before the issue happens again. I use this for quick note taking where I am clicking the pen open and closed hundreds of times a day
