No more water hammer bang!
I'm very pleased with this check value. I know that it's not a very exciting product to use (or even talk about) but it is so good it warrants a review. It replaces a check valve that still works, but has always made a loud bang when it operates which could be heard one floor up from the sump pump. This is very quiet in operation even when standing next to it, and certainly can't be heard on the next floor of the house. The flap valve allows for full flow with no bottleneck. It comes with four hose clamps that are of good quality. The housing is plastic, but thick enough that it is sturdy. Very easy to install. Outstanding quality and functionality at a great price. Highly recommend.

Great sump pump backflow valve
Love it works great, replaced an old plastic one. It’s quiet and works as stated. I would buy again if required but this one has been installed and working for 3/4 of a year without issue!

Great product - absolutely silent
Was a bit leery of getting something that wasn't sold or supported by Amazon, but it was a great buy. As others have said, it is a 5 minute job to install and it is absolutely silent. My contractor initially said my hammering was due to my sump pump, but I figured it was likely due to the water hammer with my check valve and I was right. I was thinking of somewhat more expensive "silent" check valves, but I'm glad I picked up the Zoeller - it has been silent (the water rushing through the pipes is louder!). Also, shipping was fast (I bought it in the GTA), fwiw. Have had it running for a few months now w/ no issues.
