Gund Baby Nicky Noodle Monkey Stuffed Animal

This is a soft, soft, cuddly creature with an adorable face, perfect arms and legs, and the ability to sit up. The back of its head feels just like the back of my four-month-old grandbaby's head! I just got it for him, so I don't know yet how he will react, or how the monkey will react to being washed. People have remarked on the color being different from the picture - it is a bit, but this is no problem and actually looks better in real life. It's as if the picture is over-lighted somewhat on its face and feet - in real life they seem a tad more beige, which looks great. I got it for him to have at Grandma's house, and I can't imagine he'll won't just love it to death. I'll edit this review if it turns out it terrifies him or something, haha. July 16, 2021. Owen is 1 year 1 month now, and it turns out he is not terrified of this monkey. But he definitely hasn't loved it to death! For some reason, he has always been somewhat suspicious of stuffed toys with faces, and is . . . let's say . . . somewhat on the alert when he's around them. So what I do is put the monkey in this bag of household items (measuring cups and so forth) that I bring out for him to play with when he's here. What happens is I treat the monkey like a puppet and have it "talk" to him. He'll grab it for a bit, then hand it to me to make it talk to him some more, so that works! April 14, 2022: Owen is now 1 year 10 months and he and the monkey are fast friends. Looking for another baby gund now for his baby brother, who will arrive in June!

I got this for my sister for her birthday, she had this one monkey stuffed animal since she was born and when my family went on a cruise she accidentally left it. My parents didn't care enough to call the cruising company to ship it back to us, despite how much it meant to her. I took matters into my own hands and she loves this stuffed animal equally as much, maybe even more. It's super soft and light. It was worth all the money in the world when I saw the smile on her face when she opened it. It also doesn't get sticky when she drools all over it, which I think is a plus since she doesn't like certain textures.

Excellent product. The kids loved it. Right size. Ease of carrying around.
