what is reconstatuted chrystal?

Reconstituted means it is pure quartz that is ground, heated and then reformed into a sphere shape.

I just want to triple check that this is 100% clear quartz and not glass. How can I make sure it is quartz?

Is this real crystal?

Well, it is real glass. Whether it is crystal or not I am not sure how to tell. It is very clear, and very sparkly. Mine sits outside on top of a staff of a 8 foot chain saw carving of a wizard. It has maintained the sparkle and clear properties through 5 months of weather. I like mine very much.
