Dried Pineapple, 1lb

Good flavor and really cooks well, easy to chop up and mix into batters. I got it for use in waffles and pancakes. The visual looks of it took some getting over in that it seemed discolored at first, but it was not affecting the flavor or eating consistency at all. All the rings were consistent in flavor and appearance...it is dried pineapple not candy.

I liked the idea of this product. But when it arrived, it was too sweet for me to use. There is sugar coating the outside. Now this might be natural sugar from the drying process. But it is so intense I could not use it. I will not order again.

Pineapples came before expected delivery date, and there was quite a bit of pineapple in the bag. However, they are extremely sweet, so be prepared for that.

I just got my order today.... Let me tell you Folks... I'm 47 years old and this is the best thing I've put in my mouth in a long time.. I did not think it was to sweet like a lot of reviews said... In my opinion, I think they are just right on the added sugar... I will be ordering more and sharing with friends.... I'm an amazon prime customer and got this product with free shipping... These will be great to take to work for break instead of potato chips or a candy bar... I highly recommend this product !!!

We have a sweet tooth but this sugary sweet pineapple exceeded all limits for sweetness. I tried cooking it covered with water to dilute the sugar and ultimately lost any pineapple flavor.. Finally ended up storing in refrige in a covered bowl. Several days later I just threw it down disposal. I had bought a bunch of dried fruit and thought these would be a winner.

The pineapple rings are large and a good consistency. Good overall flavor but something used in the preservation of the dried fruit was a little strong. I've purchased dried pineapple for several decades and they all have a little bit of this unusual flavor--like salt but it seemed stronger on these rings but they are still good.

These dried pineapple slices are the worst tasting dried fruit I've ever tasted. They are sweet, but have this weird chemical taste I just can't get past(maybe it's a preservative?)very pricy for what they're sending you too. Do not spend your money on this product.

I like these but they are dusted with sugar and I really think pineapple is sweet enough without extra sugar.
