This thing ROCKS!!! 🎸
Some of the reviews caused me to pause on purchasing this Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme Robot, but I took the plunge and ordered it. I got to tell you, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! In the beginning I had to get my wifi figured out. You need to have the slower farther reaching frequency linked to it. (Makes perfect sense after you think about it) Which was easy once I clicked on the non 5G Band and after that I was off to the races. I love the filters they are amazing. They catch everything. Leg hair, arm hair, bugs big & small bugs. They are so easy to clean. It takes me maybe 5 minutes to clean them out well and wipe down the machine and put it away. The app is pretty easy. I'd like to see add ons in the future like more details & functionality but compared to not having it and cleaning your own pool by hand it rocks. It can be a little tricky steering it back to you but its not a big deal. I'd buy this thing again in a heart beat. People freaking out about the app are over reacting in my opinion. I've had it for 90 days or so now and its going strong with zero problems. The only sad thing is I asked my lady to pull it out of the pool once after it was done and its a little heavy & bulky wet and she scratched the side of the robot on my concrete edge. Its only cosmetic but I was bummed. So as a heads up to the rest of you that you may want to explain or expect its a two handed squating effort to safely pull it out of the pool. I set it on a floaty matt right after to let the water drain off keeping it off the concrete and pop out the filters to go clean them right after. Its not a good idea to let the junk dry out in them. Anyway I hope my review helps those of you on the fense. This thing is AWESOME!!!

Worth. every. penny.
I’ve owned mine for 3 years now and there’s not many purchases over a thousand dollars that I’ve thought were worth the amount paid, but THIS purchase is the exception! We use it every day all summer long and it saves time and energy, and does a better job than when I was manually vacuuming the pool. It needed to be serviced twice, which is actually amazing since this device lives under water 4 months out of the year. The first time was for an issue with the power line to the robot. It was replaced. The second time was due to the motor not working. It was also replaced. Of note, the 2nd service was done 3 weeks after the 3 year warranty expired. They gave us a “freebie” and I mention it, because ot shows how committed they are to standing by their product. The process of getting it serviced has been easy and customer service was great to work with. I’ll definitely be buying another one when our current one is no longer usable.

Nice pool robot, but I don't think any humans work at Maytronics!
This is my second Dolphin pool cleaner. The first one was awesome! It kept our pool spotless!! This year our first robot turned 5 and was starting to struggle a bit. It lost bands off of the wheels, but still cleaned pretty well. It was a no-brainer when it came time for a new one. These robots are worth their weight in gold. Now, the bad part. This model has the ability to communicate with a smart-phone. I can't tell you what the benefits of this are because I CANNOT connect to the device! At times, it finds the unit, but most of the time, it does not! Sometimes after it finds it, you hit next and it says "Disconnected". I've found out that this problem is at least 3 years old!! Of course I try to contact support. I seriously think that no one works at this place! I've called 3 days in a row and was on hold for over 2 hours each time! They say that they are experiencing long hold times, but it is statistically not possible to be that busy every single day!! They offer chat support on their website. It is powered by AI and unless you pick from the very few troubleshooting options, it says that it cannot recognize your free-form text!! Now, I have to go through the painstaking task of returning this robot. I can't get it to connect and it seems like the company doesn't care. I'm off to find the next great pool robot!! Hope this helps someone else to STAY AWAY from this ghost company!!

Updated*. Good cleaner, not the best
First, the unit does get wet, and it doesn’t randomly drive itself around the pool. Yes it sucks up stuff (that it actually finds by accident) and it does park itself against the wall close to the power unit. The robot itself is easy to work and easy to clean out. The added caddy is a great way to store it, and keep the cord untangled and ready for use. That’s about where it ends. The reason I paid so much more this unit compared to others was the ability to remote control the device and target specific areas of the pool as needed. I have a great pool with awesome water movement, so leaves tend to settle in very specific areas. I’d rather not wait a few hours to hope it drives over that area to get them sucked up. The app still has not been able to connect to the unit. Customer service in the US is a joke. I was told there’s a problem with the app so just wait a while and keep trying. Basically I take this as let’s wait until the return policy is expired and then you’re stuck with it. I was given troubleshooting steps that aren’t even options on this unit, frustrating as ever. For a unit that does manual only random cleaning it’s great, but if it doesn’t have the feature that’s advertised making it worth the extra several hundred dollars it costs, I might as well buy a cheaper unit that does the same thing. The seller was great, it shipped fast and came in with no delay and no visible damage. The unit does suck up leaves and it does get all the way up the walls. It did drive up the stairs out of the water , but it was able drive back down in lot the water and that by itself is rather impressive. If you are like me and wanted the remote control feature with the WiFi linking to clean the pool on demand. Don’t waste your money. But if you want really cool robot that does clean up stuff and you want to pay several hundred dollars more than the others so you can brag about spending so much, then this one is for you. **update**. Great support when you send a message via email to the customer center. I got nowhere with calling the US based support but got an immediate response from the email support team. Found my problem to be a faulty unit and they dispatched a replacement quickly. The app immediately connected with the replacement and all works fine. I will say the unit does work as advertised though the manual drive feature is not nearly as easy or useful as thought to be. It does allow me to at least guide the unit in the direction I’d like allowing me to get it into the ground or spots. I would recommend the unit given the ease of cleaning the unit and the great support by the manufacturer. If you are US based, I would recommend you not waste your time calling the US number for support, just send an email and get to the real support team. Not sure yet if the unit is much different from other units for a lower price, but the ability to schedule cleanings and start a cleaning cycle via the app even when I’m not home is useful. I like being able to jump online and kick off a cleaning cycle before getting home so it’s ready to swim shortly after getting home after a trip is handy.

This thing is AWESOME!
I toiled about what model to purchase and eventually settled on this one and I am so glad I did! We just put in a new in-ground pool and our surrounding decking isn't finished yet, which means the area around the pool is basically one big dirt pile. When the landscapers are working, tons of dirt gets shot into the pool. I was totally skeptical that it wasn't going to do a good job. The pre-installed filters did "ok", but then I read in the manual that filter size is more for leaves and grass. The unit also comes shipped with a second set of ultra-fine filters for dirt and sand. Once I swapped the filters out (which is SUPER easy) my pool has been spotless ever since. I am very impressed. Yes, it was pricey, but 100% totally worth it. And the thing can climb completely vertical. It's actually entertaining to watch. The only negative thing I can say is that the manual drive from the app takes some getting used to because there is a bit of a delay, but still super neat.

Gave me hours of time back!
We purchased this a few weeks back. It was very easy to set up and get running out of the box, the caddy was easy as well. I don't currently use the app but plan to. It does a great job, we have slopes and walls, etc. and it gets everything. The best part is my wife and I joke about how I should go clean the pool to get ready for family or friends coming over and I begrudgingly sulk outside, drop the robot in, and press a button. I get 2+ hours back each weekend now that I don't have to spend sweating while painstakingly vacuuming. The filters are very easy to clean, hose out, and replace. The suction power is excellent, nothing is left, even small dive toys or goggles that the kids forget to grab I've found in the vacuum. One tip: I originally tried to run it from an extension cord from my shed which already has long wires running to it. The robot would not start even though it appeared as though it were powered. It must have an under voltage lock out feature of some sort. But I just plugged right into the outlet and it worked.

We love our robot
The good. It’s easy to use even for a non technical person lacking in pool knowledge. It works well and we love this little robot. We named ours Optimus . Not original I know but the 4 year old named him . For me personally it’s not light and I’m so glad we bought the cart to go with it. I can lift it in and out of the pool but carrying it too and fro the pool would be too heavy and awkward. The cart makes it easy to maneuver. The bad. It does pick up leaves but will get clogged fast if you have a ton in your pool. Suction seems good. The remote function is all but useless. It’s extremely difficult to drive and doesn’t really work well. I had hoped we could use that function to quickly spot clean the shallow end but it doesn’t work well enough for that option.

Not worth the money for how long it lasts working perfectly.
I waited to do this review because I wanted to see if there’s any issues with it long-term. I’ve had it barely over one year and I already had an issue. He would run for four minutes and then stop. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong so I contacted them. They told me I needed to send it in for repairs, shipping cost on me. So I chose to find a store near me that could run a diagnosis. No store works with the warranty. The bottom middle brush had a broken bearing. In my opinion, I have not had a long enough to have something broken. I loved it while it ran, but it just doesn’t last very long for what you pay for it. It also gets stuck on the drain all the time. Not worth the money.
