Great item!
I mostly use this for chopping nuts. It works great.Handy, fast, and does a great job.New Info:After about 20 uses, the plastic stem that holds the blade in place broke off. The plastic stem is located in the bottom of the base of the chopper. Now there is no way to hold the blade for chopping. It was nice while it lasted. There is no way to use it now. Reduced the Star Rating from 5 to 3.

It's really good when using
It's really good when using. Making ground so well. But after several times, I found some problems. First, when the water got in the cover, it's hard to get it out. And second is that sometimes it stuck when pulling the string out.

This is a pretty sweet manual food processor
This is a pretty sweet manual food processor. The food is chopped with little effort, but the cord does get "stuck" if you pull it out too far.The food processor comes with 3 parts: a lid, the blade and the clear plastic base. The blade has a white cylindrical attachment that hooks simply to the clear plastic base. I then load about a half a small onion over top of the blade (or whatever vegetable I'm working with at the time). I put the lid on and make sure that the hole in the middle of the lid matches with the white blade piece incision. The lid needs to be click locked into place by turning the lid to make sure it is in the divets of the clear plastic base. The lid has a pulley which will ignite the blade's motion. The pulley will need to be pulled between 3-15 times to get the cut I want. It is easy to pull and the blade moves swiftly when pulled. The pulley does get stuck if I pull it out too far. This is a feature that needs to be fixed. It is manually fixable though. I remove the lid from the blade and base and turn the gear that pokes out about 4 mm at the bottom middle of the lid. Be careful because it causes the handle of the pulley to whip in very quickly! Keep your distance! If you pull out to about 70%, it will not get stuck, but at least there is a solution if you accidentally go farther. The results are as good as any standard food processor with vegetables. The blade is super sharp and slices right into the vegetables. After about 5 pulls of the pulley, I open it and use a spoon or fork to push the bigger chunks toward the blade and continue. It takes a minimal amount of time to get the results with the vegetables with the shape I desire. Cleanup is quick. I run it under soapy water. There are no hidden ridges or edges for food to hide under. This is super convenient because it takes 30 seconds to clean to be ready for next time. The overall shape of the food processor is about the size of an 8 oz tub of butter. It is convenient and powerless, so it travels well. Really cool little chopper
Really cool little chopper! I love the fact the it is manual. No electricity or plug in needed! I've used mine to chop all kinds of things...onions, basil, pine nuts, garlic, cilantro. I love the lightweight size and that I don't have to pull out my huge and heavy food processor when I just need to chop something small and quick! I am happy that it saves my hands from getting smelly when I chop onions and garlic. I've run it through the dishwasher several times now with no problems. It's very easy to clean by hand too. The most important thing I can recommend about this is not to pull the strin very far out. It just needs to come out a few inches to do a great job. I'm glad I found this chopper, it makes kitchen duty more fun. Thanks for a great product!I received this item at a discount for my honest review.
