Exactly I needed
So first things first, this tool is shipped coated in oil to prevent rust or corrosion before the consumer takes delivery. You can simply wipe down the exterior and the protective oil will be gone. The smaller range 1/4"-5/8" was perfect for my application; making holes for a bolt in roll cage. This tool allowed me to center all pre-fabricated base plate holes to properly square the roll cage and allow the underside reinforcement plate to properly align. The roll cages 'feet' featured 8mm holes, by utilizing this centering tool it allowed me scribe the center for final drilling. The driving pin if fairly sharp and works well marking the vehicle's metal floor pan. I guess if you are using it on a harder surface you can use a hammer but that would severely dull the point.Used this tool specifically for only centering bolt in roll cages so I can't speak on other applications. However it operated flawlessly and have stored it in a sealed ziploc bag until it's needed again. For $20-25 it's hard to believe people are complaining about this tool. I would suggest practicing its function (getting comfortable with the tool and its limitations) before using. You should NOT have the issues the other buyers have. Although as far as longevity... I've only used this to install several bolt in roll cages with consistent results and stored the tool in a sealed bag. YMMV.

It will be abused without prejudice
As a professional fabricator, time will determine the quality of these. Majority of my work involves stainless steel so tools tend to get beaten up and have shorter life spans

Not worth the money.
The rod bent on the big one. It lasted maybe a couple of days, now I have to buy another one.

Dirty and covered with grease and grinding dust.
I had to clean it before being able to use it. Quite poor quality.

Perfect
Exactly what I was thinking in my head to have made at a machine shop, I’ve tried the punches on 44W-50W plate and the tip stayed as sharp as can be
