I was not expecting to like this case so much. It was a replacement case,, and I really liked my other case, which is no longer available. This one had great reviews, but I was still very skeptical. But wow - I love this case!My old case actually added quite a bit of bulk and size to my Kindle, and I wasn't really recognizing that. But at the same time, I don't think it protected my Kindle very well. This one is much more rigid than my other case, and I feel that the Kindle is just safer. Another surprise was how snug the Kindle fits into the case. With my other case, I had to slide the Kindle in a little pocket, but the Kindle could move around. This is very secure.I was also uncertain about the red color, but it is a very pleasant red. The cover flips back nicely and the case is just easy to hold while reading the Kindle. The magnetic closure is secure, but not too strong either - it's easy enough to open.This seems like just a perfect case - I have absolutely no complaint at all with it. I am thoroughly happy and thrilled with it.

I love this cover. In fact, it saved my kindle!I had the original lighted cover for my Kindle Keyboard, the one with tabs that linked the kindle to the cover an powered the light. However, when my toddler daughter got ahold of it and tried to "turn the page", she bent the tabs and broke the mounting holes on the kindle. This meant I couldn't really replace the lighted tab, so I went to look for one that held it in place by some other means. This cover is a perfect fit!It is very easy to put the kindle into the case, and it is easy to take it back out. The PU leather feels great, but it is also very tough stuff. Best of all, this case is far lighter than the Amazon cases. I find reading with this a much more pleasant experience. In fact, even when I am doing heavy annotating, I don't take the kindleout. I can fold back the cover and type quite comfortably with the cover in place.In fact, I prefer this cover over the original amazon covers. This is because it is smaller, lighter, and I think it offers more protection. Best of all, it doesn't look like a page to a toddler, and so no more destructive turning events will occur!

I recently picked up an old Kindle 3 (3g) that didn’t have a case with it. I saw this one available for a reasonable price and decided to buy. I’m not unsatisfied by any means, but gave it 4 stars due to the side magnets not being very strong. It also doesn’t take advantage of the built in case clips meant for interfacing directly with the kindle itself. Overall a good value that looks great, is nice and slim, and a soft pleather to the touch.

Fits the kindle fine. Seems to be sturdy and protective. Clicks closed tightly. Allows charging access. Feels nice to the touch.

Perfectly fit my kindle

Received my 3rd generation kindle from a friend many years ago, and the cover that came with it was literally disintegrating. I was very surprised and happy to find they still make a cover to fit it! The red color I chose is lovely and a pleasure to look at. The cover seems very sturdy. My only complaint is that the metal latch is on the front instead of the back, which to me makes it seem awkward to open. Once it's open, though, I love that the front cover folds completely backwards, making it easy to hold onto with one hand. Would definitely recommend.
