This seat was purchased for my standard height toilet in my second bathroom where I needed assistance and height to rise up from the toilet. This seat with handles was perfect. So easy to install. No tools required. Comfortable seat and height. Arm rests perfect height. Easy to clean. Like it almost better than the comfort high toilet with elongated seat installed in my master bath. This seat is rather bulky looking and you cant close the toilet cover, but if you just want comfort and functionality, you will be very happy with it.

Very sturdy and oh so necessary when you are not able to bear weight on one foot. This works perfectly and keeps you from having to bend your knees very much; it’s so far off the ground. It’s comfortable as well and was easy to attach.

Very good product. Great if you have problem with your knees! It fits great on a Kohler round old commode; helpful while you decide to replace with a higher one or if you cannot replace your old one. Make sure to sit back to keep your weight balanced. My bathroom is small and I cannot use the padded arms, but I manage. Check for stability regularly, after all it is an addition, not part of your toilet. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Had to remove the side handles because my hips wouldn't fit. The seat itself works perfectly to raise the seat high enough to make it easier to stand.

This raised toilet seat was a total lifesaver after hip replacement surgery, I only wish I had gotten it sooner (before surgery) as I was in such extreme pain just getting up and down from the toilet! This is truly a must-have, makes it so much easier and less pressure on the affected joint(s). The bonus is that the seat itself is extremely comfortable almost like it cradles your legs softly. The arms make it easy to get up and down as well, just be cautious to put equal weight on both arms or the seat may tip to one side. There is a locking mechanism to hold it down, but I could not get mine to lock in place, and that may be because of arthritis keeping me from dialing the lock all the way around. But as long as you lift up evenly it's not going anywhere.

Toilet seat works great , high enough so I don’t have too far to go from a standing position. I have a boot on one foot and multiple fractures on other foot, so I need something sturdy. It fits into toilet hole perfectly but doesn’t lock tight because of the shape of our toilet is just a little bit different. I Need to grab both seat handles at a time otherwise it gets a little bit tippy.

The handles are an added bonus enabling one to push oneself off the throne when there is nothing close by to grab. Suitable especially for a bulkier person.

I had knee surgery a few weeks ago and knew that the bathroom would be an issue afterwards. It's pretty hard to come down for a proper landing when you have to stick your painful bad leg, straight out and then try to get seated and comfortable, hopefully without starting to do your business on the way down! I looked at the options available on Amazon and had to decide between a 3" model and this 5" model, and whether to get arms or not. I decided on the 5" with arms and it was the right choice for me. It isn't a pretty looking toilet seat that you'd want to show off to company (LOL) but it's very sturdy, and you can back the truck up, grab the handles without even turning around and sit EASILY every single time. This is especially helpful for the middle of the night bathroom trips where you're half asleep but need the facilities. I'm 5'5" tall and my feet don't sit flat on the floor when I'm seated - it's not too bad, but if someone is a couple of inches shorter it could be an issue (and the shorter models might work better). I don't want to say Enjoy the Go, but .... enjoy the go! ;)

Not very happy that I am in need of this equipment but seeing as I do, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others. The seat has worked for me as needed and luckily without any of the tipping issues others have experienced. I am a senior woman of average height and weight...5'8" and 155lbs. However if you have a larger body frame I could understand that would most likely happen if you had to shift your body weight to the extreme on either side of the seat. It was very easy to install and has been a blessing to allow me to get up off the toilet safely and with less pain.
