I got a lot of great footage with this housing, and had a lot of fun experimenting. I unfortunately didn’t get a lot of practice with the macro lens unfortunately so I can’t comment. I also chose not to use the trigger, so I can’t comment on that either. The housing is very bouyant so be aware of that. If free diving, make sure you have a weight belt or something to grab onto for filming at shallow depth. The video in this review was taken at about 4-5 ft depth with the red filter. The smudge (if you notice it) was just me being careless, and not wiping the dome port. All in all, it’s a great addition to my uw filming kit. It is acrylic so be VERY careful and mindful not to scratch the dome. It will scratch easily. Have fun!
