Plus your skin type is totally opposite of mine. Afraid I can not advise you one way or the other about this primer. My daughter has combination skin and loves the matte. She is one who turned me on to this primer but because my skin is very dry, I ordered the more moisturizing choice. **Q: Regarding face primer-i’m 57 with dry, with spots of flakiness, also fine lines & creases-will the face primer accentuate this or help hide?** A: I routinely exfoliate my skin,which improves the performance of any cosmetic item. Apply your daytime moisturizer,and let it absorb completely . Blot a bit if needed. Apply a thin coat of the primer and let it set a bit before applying makeup. If you use liquid foundation,do so with a light hand so as not to pick up the primer. You should not have trouble with flakes if you prep your skin correctly.
