The nylon that goes into the end caps that attach the handle to the Kayak, do not extend to the second screw on both end caps. In otherwords, only the inside screw of each end cap holds the handle to the Kayak. The outside screws only holds the end caps to the Kayak and don't support the nylon handle. Also, the nylon handle is not molded into the end caps but just tucked into the end caps. You can pull the nylon handle out of the end caps with ease before they are mounted to the kayak. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Straps *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2013* I have a fourteen foot kayak I bought used had many of years and straps broke and saw these on Amazon an purchased them. I like them better than the original straps from the maker of kayak. They fight right and are more durable. I only had to make the hole larger in strap, because my screws my kayak used were larger than the hole in strap. Nothing major, very happy with product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent replacement for my Seda kayak (revised) *by C***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2012* These fit perfectly and were only half the cost of the Seda supplied handles. Just be sure to measure the intended installation.Revision 12/2013 - These have done well but during one week-long camp/kayak journey we found out how critical it is to use the inner drilled holes for mounting! On one handle I had used the outer hole (towards end of strap) and the webbing pulled out of the plastic tab and could have easily dropped the kayak. The outer holes don't seem to be drilled thru the webbing so be be sure you are bolting through plastic tab AND webbing!
