The SoundAsleep kids mattress is perfect. It’s very easy to setup. My 4 year old granddaughter loves it. She calls it her comfy bed. She’ll be able to use it for many more years. Also, it packs into the bag so easy making it so convenient to take on trips. The inflation/deflation device is a snap to use and quickly inflates and deflates the mattress. I needed to call customer service to ask about something and they were top notch. I highly recommend this mattress and company! We also have a queen size SoundAsleep air mattress and it has served us well for over 15 years. Very comfortable!

Very nice firm mattress, which is also adjustable so it will work for anyone. It is raised so it sits up almost as high as a normal bed. We were looking for one that would be comfortable for my brother-in-law who has back issues when he visits, and this one is perfect! Love the flocked top,it definitely keeps the fitted sheet from slipping. It is very easy to inflate and deflate. We did have an issue with it not holding air after a couple of weeks, but a quick call to Casey at SoundAsleep and it was resolved! She was cheerful and understanding, and had another one shipped out to us. Great customer support!

Update, as of 09 January, 2026 I've noticed a lot of comments that the mattress is difficult to get back into that bag. That too has always been my experience. Then I did a little experiment this morning that seems to work. 1. Lay the mattress on a flat floor and inflate it all the way (no need to make it rock-hard). 2. Turn the pump switch to "deflate" and observe as the air leaves the mattress. 3. When it is about 1/2 deflated (with the motor still running) begin folding in the sides. Fold the first side about 2/3 of the way across the remaining side. Try to "tuck in" the side areas as you fold. Neatness counts. 4. As soon as you are able (again, with the motor still running), fold the remaining 1/3 of the mattress back onto the side you worked with in step 3. Try to make the folds "as neat as possible". 5. When step four is "pretty much complete" grab the non-motor end and fold the mattress in half, end to end. 6. Continue to try to "tuck everything in" until the mattress if fully deflated. Let the motor run another minute or so, just to make sure all the air is out, as you continue to "tuck everything neatly). 7. While it will be a bit of a squeeze, the mattress should now fit into the bag. Good luck! =============== I bought this mattress about 7 months ago to use as a guest bed. It has served that purpose very well, being easy to setup and take down. When inflated, it really feels like a "real bed". In fact, I'd go so far as to say that it's actually more comfortable than standard mattress sest. The air inside adjusts to the body perfectly and never sags (like a conventional mattress can do.) The person sleeping can adjust the firmness to persona taste in just seconds. The built-in pump fills the bed FAST! From empty to full, took less than 5 minutes. My guests tend to use it for 3 or 4 nights at a time. During their "stays", I've never had to top-up the air. (The only exception was when it was first new and took a little while for the material to stretch a bit. Once that was done, however, it seems to hold air really well.) After using it intermittently for those 7 months, my recent Thanksgiving guests reported it was leaking air. To make a long story short, I contacted the "SoundAsleep" support team. First sending them an email explaining the issue, then calling them by phone about 5 minutes later at the suggestion of their immediate automated email reply. In this day and age, I always expect to be lost in some phone system hell, then be forced to do battle with customer service departments. Such was not the case this time, however. I was amazed that my call went straight through to a very polite customer service agent. Not only was there virtually no wait time, but also when I started to explain that I had just sent them an email, the agent asked, "Oh... Is this "<my name>"? Not only had she already pulled up my email, but she had read it and was ready for the conversation and called me by name. To make a long story short, she immediately took care of me, and after a very short verification of my purchase from Amazon, she kindly said, "we will send you out a replacement tomorrow by priority shipping". No muss, no fuss! Amazing! In today's world, it's so rare that a product performs so well... then (if necessary) that the company so completely and quickly stands behind its product, if an issue happens to arise. My only regret is that I can't give this company and their products MORE than 5 Stars! One of the reasons I chose this mattress initially was that it (and the company) got top ratings in reviews that I read before ordering. Those high reviews were not exaggerated. In retrospect, going with this product was a wise decision on my part! I highly recommend this product and the company standing behind it.

Like other reviews, we were pleased with the durability of this mattress. We’ve only used it once for a stretch of three nights, but things we love about it include, the height…It was easy to get in and out (even in the middle of the night), & the ease in which we were able to inflate it and deflate it. While we inflated it a little bit each night, we were pleased with the overall fullness the air mattress maintained. We took other reviewers advice and added a mattress protector, and it provided a little extra cushion. While the mattress was not the best for my back, it was a great temporary mattress for the few days that we needed it! I took away one star because we had to re-inflate just a little bit each night, but overall, definitely recommend!

I ordered this mattress and it was great for 8 years, when it had a malfunction after all that time they sent a replacement — great customer service and a great product. Very firm and comfortable, easy to inflate.

My husband loved sleeping on this mattress as he suffers from back pain occasionally. However, the mattress developed a small leak at the seam on top. Since we've had it for only 2 months, we reached out to the company for help. Customer service representative was very sympathetic and said that they would send us a new mattress. We were so impressed with this company that we ordered another one from Amazon for our daughter to use for occasional guests. We see on the company's FAQ page that these mattresses are not meant for daily use beyond 2 months. However, this is still the highest rated air mattress around. My husband stated that he will stick to this mattress even if we have to buy a new one every couple of months!

I was going to be traveling back and forth out of town to help with my mom. I would her condo and needed a place to sleep. I tried this air mattress not expecting much based on past experiences but mostly bought it because was well rated and self-inflated. Been using it on/off for a little over a year. Usually long weekends, sometimes a full week and more recently for two months. Damn good sleep! Rarely needed to add air over that time. Based on previous experience, I first laid an extra comforter over the top. Then covered that with a 'fluffier than usual' matres cover (bought specifically for its fluffiness). Then standard bedding. Bought a queen size for long term flexibility and hoped this was better than our 20-year-old air mattress. Mostly just me sleeping but there is more bounce when the better half moves (or I do) but that's true of all air mattresses I assume. Inflates fast, like the deflator as well. Like previous mattresses, getting it folded as small as the manufacturer can is all but impossible. The carry bag is nice but would like something that is 10% taller to help with poor consumer folding. Follow up: During my most recent trip, the mattress developed a slow leak one night (about 4-hours and you're really sinking into the mattress). Not sure what happened, but it was time to hunt for the leak. I tried the manufacturer's recommended approach (listen and moving the back of the hand over the mattress) and also did the soapy water trick. No luck finding the sneaky leak. I called the manufacture to ask if they had other recommendations, or tricks, to find the leak. They did not, BUT they were able to find my order. The purchase date was a couple of weeks past their 1-year warranty, but they ended up sending me a new mattress. Very surprised and very much appreciated. There are good companies out there that go over and above - well done!

We purchased two SoundAsleep mattresses for use in a variety of situations when we were vacationing, visiting friends and accommodating extra visitors in our own home. They have proven to be remarkably convenient and comfortable. They are very sturdy. The built-in air pump makes inflation and deflation easy. The raised height of the mattresses makes it much easier to enter and exit when compared to old-style thin air mattresses or foam pads. Sturdy and convenient carrying bags make moving and storing deflated mattresses easy. A big plus: The XL model accommodates my 6'6" frame comfortably. The biggest factor: We find these mattresses to be very, very comfortable. In fact, we actually look forward to the opportunities to use them.

Within about three months the inflator/deflator pump was not working. Surprising and disappointing given the product had such high reviews. Not sure is worth the hassle of try8ing to get a replacement.

As soon as I turned the pump on it smoke started to come out. I turned it off, manually deinflated and more smoke was coming out inside the air mattress. I took it outside and poured water on the pump and the smoke stopped.
