excellent design, function, and quality
I bought this for my Nakiri knife, and it is excellent. I wish I had bought it earlier. The magnetic design is very good. The Knife doesn't rattle around in the saya, nor does the knife slide out. This is a fine quality product.

Magnolia Saya meets need
Wanted a magnolia Saya for a Nakiri knife recently purchased from Japan. This Saya fits well and will keep the knife edge from rusting. Also protects the knife from contact damage.

good aesthetic, nice quality
it's a good protective knife cover/sheath, the only issue is that the little plastic piece gets wedged in a little bit too tightly. i usually end up having to "hammer" it out with something else or tapping it on the counter i like to have this since i don't want one of those knife blocks and i'm weary of those magnetic strips since we have a cat that likes to jump up on counters and such. so being able to have a sheath like this to store in a drawer is way better.
