I expected this to be slightly more rigid than it ended up being. It is very pillowy, and doesn't look exactly like the picture does. Maybe more like a seat back on a chair. It is, however, quite comfortable. Given that it's so soft, however, if you are sitting on a zafu on top of it it's a bit precarious, you wobble around a bit. If it was more rigid I think there'd be less wobble. I don't think there'd be any more foot numbness issues if it was firmer either. Nothing negative really to say about this. I'd be afraid to put the cushion itself in the wash/dryer because the filling inside would probably bunch up more than it is already, but the cover is easily removable. After reading all of the reviews of similar products, this is the one I arrived on, and I think I probably made the right choice. It performs the role I expected it to perform.

Amazing quality! I purchased this meditation cushion in burgundy. It provides great support, and is surprisingly comfortable even though it's quite firm. I use it sometimes when I am playing on the floor with my kids. Great little cushion for low seating, the filling does not compress or deform over time the way that traditional stuffing options can. This means that once seated, the cushion remains quite firm and solid, but each time you sit.

Padding is not good for long meditating

It is a beautiful color, much more burgundy than the bright red the picture shows as most reviewer has mentioned about the other colors, it's definitely thicker as well. Actual measurements are 24"deep x 33"wide x 4"thick. The padding feels good and the padding is very supportive. My goal was to find a thick floor pillow that would pad my legs from the discomfort of the hard floor, usually my ankles get uncomfortable but I can last much longer with this pillow and the back pillow I added gives me the perfect support all around. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable yoga mat.The filling is thick enough to support me and really provides alot of relief on my ankles.It is made out of a cotton canvas cover that is removable. I have not washed it yet but looks pretty straight forward. Filling looks like pretty high quality. Pretty great product!

This is rougher and not as large or firm than a regular meditation pillow.Imagine a $7 pillow with a canvas sack around it. Absolutely no reason that this should cost $50.
