Fireman Hose Brass Nozzle Pressure Sprayer

I see LOTS of the 'freebie' I tested this nozzle and got one 'free or cheap' reviews on here, that are thankfully not allowed anymore... But I actually bought one at full price because it's all metal inside, and it truly does work great. Just used it to wash the car this weekend. Works great!

I bought this to replace a similar type of sprayer that didn't survive a fall from the second story of my home. This seems nice, but it doesn't shut off when you turn it in both directions, which means I can't turn it off when I'm using the soft spray, but only when I'm using the harder stream. I'm not sure how long that soft rubber is going to last in the sun either ...

I bought this for two reasons; 1) durability, and 2) function. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks so I cannot comment on durability yet, but the function is okay. I understand the concept of turning the nozzle left or right to open as other fireman nozzles, but this one has three issues 1) the rubber is very slippery to grip when trying to turn it as you are for example washing a car with soapy hands. There are no raised rubber sections to help with grip. 2) The number of time you need to turn the nozzle to open to a full spay or full flow. It takes three or four turns and it doesn't help that it's so slippery to turn with wet soapy hands. 3) The spray or flow velocity is not linear. In other words, as you turn the nozzle it starts to spray partially out of one section and as you keep turning it inconsistently changes the flow amount and spay pattern. There is a sweet spot that you need to find by going back and forth with the nozzle twisting until it hit a point that it sprays with full force and evenly. Every time you use it, the same process and time must be spent to get it just right. Looks elsewhere unless you are not going to adjust the flow and will not have wet / soapy hands when using this product.

I was a little disappointed in this nozzle. It only shuts off at one setting. It's well made and I expect it will last a long time, easy to use with one hand but I have two others (different brands) that shut off at either extreme and I was surprised at how much difference that makes. I water pots as well as large areas and moving from one extreme to the other is much easier if you can shut it off at either end.

This nozzle could be adjusted to provide no flow or a wide angle spray. I returned it and ordered the slightly cheaper nozzle from Bon-aire which worked great.

Feels very heavy duty and well made, only have about 2 months usage of this product but it performs well. Especially when you pair it with dramm shut off valve and quick release. I use this for detailing my car when I don't feel like pulling gout the pressure washer.

buy it! I had this version in a craftsmen that brokeI ,thought it was the best...no way,this is brass and built like a beast!! top quality!!

this sprayer cost double what a previous sprayer purchased from Lowe's cost. And, it does not work nearly as well. the stream is not as powerful as the Lowe's sprayer - which cost one-half as much.
