SNOOZ Go 2 Travel White Noise Sound Machine - 12 Sounds, Brown & Pink Noise

The original SNOOZ go emitted a tiny but quite audible electrical squeal every 5 seconds - tried 2 units with the same effect. Sounded like a tiny animal squeal. The new SNOOZ Go 2 resolved that issue. I’ve been using the unit for over a week now. It provides a loud, full white noise sound. I use it as my primary white noise machine now replacing my Yogasleep Travel Mini. That’s a great machine too but the SNOOZ has a bigger speaker so it produces fuller sound. I very much prefer the electronic white noise over machines that use actual fans as you get deeper, more enveloping white noise through a speaker. I primarily use the white noise option but SNOOZ has included a couple very relaxing trance/spa sound scapes - they chose pretty perfect sounds. They are usually very hit or more so miss on devices like these. (There are also numerous nature and other sounds as well - rain, fireplace, fan etc) The build and materials are both high quality. The inclusion of Bluetooth is nice albeit I haven’t tried it. Its a nice added feature to have for travel purposes when you might just have your phone and this or just for listening to whatever you want at night at home. The nightlight is great to have - especially for travel when hotel light switches are difficult or impossible to reach - but you can only use the nightlight if the speaker is on and producing sound which is a bit of a miss as it’d be nice to use that feature in bed while reading or watching a show - using it to go to the bathroom etc. It would be great if it got considerably brighter than it does too as it’s really quite dim. 3-4x brighter and three brightness levels like the Travel Mini is desired as is a dedicated light button to quickly turn it on/off separate from the white noise function. Would love to see these operational and brightness changes in the 3rd version in the future. Has USB-C charging which is a necessity on any portable electronic these days. Overall a very nice white noise machine for daily and travel use.

Fantastic! I have the classic version of the Snooz with the travel case, and this one works equally well without the need to plug it in and a much more compact package. The volume is perfect and it went easily over 10 hours the first night I used it. It's easily charged through the USB cord and it's perfect for travel in hotel rooms that might be noisy. I also am happy that I'll be able to use it when our power goes out, which sadly is often here in California as SCE is always doing upgrades and maintenance. The five different tones are great, and I slept so well through the night with this. At $60, it's a great value for ease of sleep and I don't think I'll need the big one anymore. Love the look and design of it, just wish they had a carrying case for this one as well.

Must buy!!! I have to have a loud fan. I mean so loud I currently use the commercial floor fans from Masterforce when I am at home. I am such a light sleeper the smallest noise and I am awake. Recently I have had to start traveling for work. I couldn't fit my large floor fan in my suitcase so I needed something. This small little unit that fits in my purse is a dream!!! The night light on it was neat especially in a hotel room woth an unfamiliar layout. The noise was just as comparable to my fan at home. There is several different fan noises as well as white noise and volume adjustment too. This little machine is a lifesaver!!!

Ive traveled with full size white noise machines and have blown fuses in other countries from plugging them in. This little thing is powerful and lasts a long time. The light is super helpful in a hotel room!

Since writing this review, I have been in touch with customer service at Snooze. It is their feeling that the problem may be with my Belkin surge protector where I generally charge the Snooze Go. Although I have no issue with any other electronic device I charge here, I was willing to test their theory. I will say here that their customer service is always A+. This time, they sent me a Mew machine with a charge cord hard wired into a plug. They feel this will solve the problem. We will see. If this works, I will be delighted - this really is an amazing wee sound machine! I have two of the full size SNOOZ machines and love them. When I saw the travel size, I immediately ordered one. Theoretically, this is a great thing -small, easy to use, nice and loud. BUT - the third one has just crapped out on me. All three died the same death. After one to three months of performing perfectly, they just suddenly die a horrible electronic death. Overnight (literally), pushing the power button just makes the machine emit a sad dysfunctional “bleep”. Spoke with their customer support and there is no fix for this. Just a bad design. Chinese manufacture for a supposedly high end American product. Ultimately very disappointing. I won’t be getting g another one.

This thing works great. Have slept with brown noise on my Alexa for years every single night. Only problem is it loops. I’m a light sleeper so that’s enough to wake me up. This thing has amazing sounds and lasts all night. I don’t know how long the battery lasts yet as I’ve just charged it each day but it’s great

This is one of my favorite things to carry with me , literally goes from home to school with no issue. I love fan noises and this little machine nails it. The sound is continuous and smooth, and it has a bunch of different options to pick from. Charges fast and the battery lasts me well over 20 hours. It’s wireless, super portable, and can actually get really loud if you want it to. Only downside is it just cuts off when the battery dies , no warning . It’s a positive for me because it don’t draw attention when it’s almost dead . But other than that, it’s clutch, especially for silent classrooms.

For those with chemical sensitivities do NOT buy. There is fabric on the top and it REEKS of chemical. Returning.

I always sleep with a fan like always, this little guy saved my sleep working g out of town, different hotels it has a. Variety of sounds but I found one that sounds similar to my fan and I slept like a baby battery life is good you can run it all night, definitely recommend for people who need white noise or fan sounds to sleep was worth the purchase, also not terrible as a supplement speaker for media audio

Charges with any USB C charger

A sound machine is a must for hotel rooms and we were without one for a long time after our previous one stopped working. I am so happy to have one again! This has several sounds - only 1 works for our ears, but that's all you need is 1. I only tried the bluetooth speaker when I first opened the package, and it is as good as any cheap speaker. I have a very good Bose bluetooth speaker at home now, so it's hard to enjoy the cheap ones, but it could be convenient for if you need to listen to music in a hotel room or on a beach, etc. This blocks out the sound of rattling or annoying hotel room heating/cooling fans, when your partner gets up to use the washroom, people walking by talking, etc. I have only used it plugged in, as I believe by other reviews that it may not last all night on battery alone. The night light is a great feature, as hotel rooms don't really have any kind of night light, but you cannot dim it, which would be nice as it's a bit too bright for us. I chose the more expensive option when shopping for a travel noise machine, as I find some of the cheaper ones, the sound is not a good quality recording. I am happy with this purchase.

After trying a couple of cheaper options, I decided to grab this white noise machine when it was on sale. Immediately I noticed the sound quality was better than others I had tried and it truly can fill the room with sound without being overly loud or tinny. I like a bit of cover noise as we have pets that are up moving around in the night and teenagers yelling playing Fortnite until all hours, and when it gets too dry in the winter for our dehumidifier to run in our basement bedroom, I was missing having that noise. This solved the problem and I like that it’s small enough to toss in an overnight bag on the go. I keep mine plugged in all the time now, but previously I was able to get two full nights of sound out of one charge, approximately 20 hours, which is pretty great. No looping, smooth sound, no lags and most of all I don’t even notice it anymore, which is a good thing when you are trying to fall asleep.

This is the best white noise machine. I put it on every night and it’s great when traveling. Compact and very effective. Drowns out partner’s snoring. Always have it with me. I love it!
