Perfect for most media! Doesnt work to well with watercolour so would not recommend. Works really well with acrylic and pencil. Smooth thick card paper.

Great quality paper, I did sketches, paintings, charcoal, all of then turned out wonderfully. Gotta tape your paper down if you want to paint, otherwise the shape gets warped though! But that's an artists rule.

This is a great sketchbook, particularly for graphite or colored pencil drawings. The vellum surface is a pleasure to draw on. But for me, the paper is too thin, 117 lbs, 190 g/m², for watercolor unless you use very light applications of water. I wouldn't use it for wet-on-wet. Good value for the price
