I found these ballet shoes, and figured for the price it was worth a shot (they were half the price of the Target shoes). I honestly did not have high hopes for them as they were so inexpensive, but I am so happy I got them!I actually prefer the canvas material these are made with...the canvas material plus the split sole seems to make them much more flexible. The shoe is nice and snug on her foot, no slipping, and I like the criss-crossed straps much better than single strap on the other pair I bought. She currently wears around a size 9 in shoes, so I ordered up at 10.5, and they fit her perfectly. I will definitely be buying these again once she grows out of them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just as expected *by M***A on September 30, 2016* They run true to size for ballet slippers, which, as a whole, run small anyway. My daughters normally wear a size 9 in shoes and 10 in ballet shoes. I ordered these in a 10.5; they fit perfectly, so not much room to grow.They are made of a canvas-like material and are packaged in a small drawstring bag. I wrote my daughters' names directly on the bags, and they have been taking them to dance class. The soles are fairly slip resistant. They are very good quality. The best thing about ordering them from Amazon, is you get the quality at half the price. The shoes cost twice as much when ordered directly from the studio. This is the second pair we have purchased and will continue to do so throughout the years.
