Works great for all things in a pan. Nice change from a basic flipper.

This is a review for a MIU 11 inch fish spatula. Ironically I have not used this for cooking and flipping fish yet, but have used it for scrambled eggs, fried eggs, fritatta baked in cast iron, burgers, baked goods and a lasagna ( cutting and lifting out of a baking dish) and it works perfectly for all of these tasks. This spatula is the perfect balance of firm yet flexible. The handle is approx. 4.5 inches and this is a kitchen tool I would add to my 'must have' list. Out went all of my thick plastic spatulas and heavy awkward metal ones too. I primarily cook with stainless, cast iron and glass cookware and this spatula performs flawlessly with all of them. I am guessing it could work with a nonstick frypan because it is lightweight which would allow a delicate touch. Overall this spatula is well built, flexible, with all smooth edges and can be easily hand washed or put safely in the dishwasher. I highly recommend.

Overall, this is a good kitchen tool. While I love wooden-handled utensils, these plastic-handled ones are much easier to care for. The spatula is super thin, so it's easier to get under food to break it away from the pan. So why not a 5-star rating? Everything about this tool says French. With a brand name of MIU France, one might assume it is a French item, made in France. However, this is made in China. Now, I have nothing wrong with items made in China - I have some very good items that are Chinese made. My issue is that this company went to great lengths to hide the country of origin. The front of the package says, "MIU France," however on the side of the package in faint lettering, intended to blend in with the package coloring it says, "Made in PRC". Just tell me it's made in China - I'll still buy it. But don't try to hide the fact and make it look Français authentique.

Came as a set of two, I believe (been a while since we ordered and started using them). Great for fish as well as burgers on the stove; have not used them on the BBQ grill. Sturdy. Front edge easily slides under the food without tearing up the food. Handles are comfortable. Clean up easily in dishwasher, top rack. Months of use and they work great and look great.

Every time I use this I thank myself for buying it. Though these fish spatulas have many good uses, I find them very wonderful for their original purpose, moving cooked fish. They come in a wide price range, flexibility range, angle at the tip, width of blade, overall length, and style of handle. I bought this one to replace the one I bought at my local grocery store during the pandemic. The only thing I did not like about it was the tip was at too sharp an angle for my preferences. This one was recommended in a review as a best economy choice. It better fit my budget and I'm very happy with it, would buy again, would give as a gift.

A little pricey but very stiff and well made.

I thought it was an inexpensive but not totally necessary food toy, but I use it daily for all kinds of things. The light and flexible spatula head works for everything from getting stubborn brownies out of the pan to upping my omelet game.
